STRIKE A POSE ' '
Physical Appearance: Leilah is a scrawny thing, but that probably comes from life sucking where she comes from. She has olive colored skin that tends to bruise easily. It comes from a ritual she’d trying to perfect after watching her uncle.
While the sun doesn’t bother her much, she is photosensitive and has a tendency to be photophobic (meaning she’s unusually sensitive to sunlight). She usually needs sunglasses to walk around outside because of it. It can get annoying and she tends to be a shut-in when it’s too sunny out. The bright side of it is that she can see better in the dark than most though that’s not really a supernatural thing. Her eyes are a bit elfish in appearance and her dark eyebrows don’t help that much as they are rather straight and stick out at a slight angle.
She has downward turning lips that give the appearance that she’s pissed off or sad about something. It also gives her a sultry and mysterious look causing people to either find her fascinating or shy away from her. It gives her the appearance that she had many secrets being held. Maybe she does, maybe she doesn’t.
Leilah has eyes the color of fresh dirt after a grave has been dug. They are deep though and since she rarely blinks staring her in the eye can be a bit daunting. Her eyes are a very deep variation on her mother’s hazel eyes, which is about the only connection her parents can figure exists between them. That and her father’s unusually dark aura, though even Leilah has that trumped given her conception and birth. Her eyes give the impression of her being an ‘old soul.’
She has a bit of a button nose at the moment, but that’s because she’s still growing into herself.
Leilah’s hair is a deep auburn and she keeps it very short in a sort of bob. It also comes from a future where everything sucks, therefore having long hair can become a liability. It’s shiny and has the same texture of her mother’s.
Since Leilah looks like neither of her parents, they attribute it to her looking more like her paternal grandmother, whom she does resemble in some ways.
LET'S GET TO KNOW YOU BETTER ' '
Personality Description: Leilah has a very complicated relationship with her mother. She is a daddy’s girl through and through. There is no way in hell that that bond will ever break. Leilah has and always been a daddy’s girl. She follows him around everywhere and learns what she can by watching him. He’s used to having the skinny girl follow him around and asking the rare question. Once it was seen that she was ‘special’, meaning nearly straight out of the womb, her father started planning for her education and has been trained in necromancy ever since. He fostered that ability in her and they of course grew as close as father and daughter could.
One would think she would be a spoiled child seeing as how she’s the only girl out of three children, but she’s not really. She’s more apathetic than anything. She has servants who wait on her, but she prefers her ghost friends and the odd zombie to help her own. She’s able to control them with pitiful ease, seeing it as insulting to her abilities. She’s always trying to push herself father than she safely should, but she doesn’t much care. Her mother is there to imbue her with life and her father is there to ensure she doesn’t lose it to her necromancy.
Leilah is fluent in Hebrew, Ancient Greek, Afrikaans and upper-class English, which, despite popular belief, is much more complicated and superfluous than regular English. Her mother ensured her education was thorough, having a firm belief that all her children needed an education to succeed. Leilah never felt comfortable learning from Farren though. Farren always looked at her strangely and Leilah never felt a connection to her. Farren seemed almost ashamed of her daughter, the child that was born of magic and out of ‘wedlock.’ After years of trying to get her mother’s approval, Leilah gave up and instead lavished all her daughterly love on her father.
Leilah had two brothers. The first is Taran, her half-brother and technical cousin, though she doesn’t refer to him that way because it makes them sound inbred. She does feel close to her brother, the Thor incarnate, and prefers his company to most others, despite his being way more outgoing that Leilah could ever hope to be. Taran has always been protective of his little sister and she’s always enjoyed that attention. The second brother is more of an adopted brother than anything. Marcellus Tanzer is her godbrother if she is such a thing. Since his mother and Leilah’s father are close, Marcellus has always been around, taken care of by Samael Eadric. Marc isn’t her technical brother, but he’s pretty damn close. His personality is also more akin to her own, his being fairly quiet and preferring to be around women as opposed to men. When Leilah is annoyed with Taran, she’ll go to Marc for some quiet time.
Overall, Leilah likes her quiet time, but she’s known to have outbursts. Like her brother Marc, Leilah is a bit bipolar. One minute she’s quiet and calm and the next she’s laughing up a storm, following by crying though she’s not sure why. She’s a complicated child.

Fears: Her mother’s hatred. She wants to be loved by her mother, but her mother has always looked at her like she had a second head or something. She also wants to protect her family and losing them would cause her to do something drastic.
Goal: Master her abilities and become much more powerful than her father in order to protect him and her family. Also, become Ms. Clio and make lots of money.
Power/Ability: Necromancy- Considering that she was conceived by necromancy (or so they believe, they’re not really sure), Leilah’s strongest primary ability is necromancy. She’s been wielding it since she was a baby, more or less, and her father made her into a prodigy. Given that she’s an underworld goddess of witchcraft and ghosts, it makes sense in the end. Like her father, Leilah can command any souls that she lifts and can put them back into a body, providing the situations are all right. Leilah has been raising zombies since she was very small, more or less using them as servants instead of the ones she was assigned. She can harness the necromantic energy itself, meaning that brief moment of transfer when a soul transfers from life to death, to boost her own abilities and energies. Leilah can use energy bolts of this energy in order to destroy enemies, use it as a minor sort of ‘telekinesis’, though really it’s just that soul-ar powered energy to move items. She can hear and communicate with the dead in order to help them move on which she prefers to her father’s method of just banishing them into nothingness. She can use her necromancy as a kind of mediumship, but that’s a long way off and she’s not very keen on letting some random spirit mess around with her body. She’s a definite prodigy in this department but, again, they believe that that’s because not only are both her parents necromancers, but she may have been conceived that way.

History:
Leilah’s birth was every bit as complicated as her brother’s, even more-so given the circumstances. She was born into a very tumultuous world, under tumultuous circumstances. For one, her mother didn’t mean to have her. For two, she was an accident that no one was quite sure how she happened. For three, she looks nothing like either of her parents, but her grandmother, thereby drawing uncertainties as to her parentage, just as the case was with her brother. However, blood tests assure that she is Farren and Samael’s child. She’s always been looked at askance though and treated much differently than her half-brother.
Taran is just about the only one who hasn’t looked at her like she’s a freak of nature. To him, she was always just his sister. As was her father who simply saw her as his daughter.
Truth be told, her birth and conception has never been completely conveyed to her, just that it wasn’t in the usual way. Everyone in the family won’t talk to her about it and any questions she’s had have been side-stepped. On top of that, there’s no paperwork or records of her birth, save for a certificate with her birthday and who her parents were. That’s it.
Leilah was a skilled necromancer from the very start. As the daughter of two necromancers, it was only natural she should gain the ability. Though, while her mother was always scared of her necromantic abilities, Leilah never was and took to it with the same happiness and skill that her father did. She was prodigy to begin with but under her father’s tutelage she was practically the goddess she was meant to be. Since her birth was unusual, to say least, it wasn’t surprising that she was little different than the others, much darker and much more distant than the other children, struggling to fit in.
Leilah grew up a spoiled daughter. As the only girl of three children, one being adopted and the other being a half-brother, Leilah was dotted on by her father who more or less treated them all equally. So, she was as spoiled as a girl can be until her mother stepped in and demanded he treated the others the same way. She was still able to get her way with Samael, in secret and with subtle manipulation techniques only a daughter knows how to wield with vicious accuracy. Her father was the only one she could connect to on a more personal level and she was happy to fall into the role of daddy’s girl.
Nevertheless, Leilah became a tomboy since she grew up primarily around men, which was more than she could say for her older brother Marc, who grew up around women. Leilah learned a lot from her militarily trained brother and his ‘sister’, Lani Ahi’aihonus.
Once, her mother was kidnapped due to her special ability. Taran got it into his head that they should run in guns a blazing to save her, but Leilah pointed out the stupidity of that situation and suggested something else. While she would press as herself, Taran would dress incognito, in this case as a woman which he really didn’t have to, but Leilah thought it would be funny and besides, he didn’t know he didn’t need to, in order to save their mother. They did, with hilarious results. Leilah was expecting Farren to warm up to her after that, and she did a tad, but there was still a distance.
Eventually, it was time for her to leave. The world became too chaotic for the children to stay and the Eadric children were to be among the second way and follow Marc and Lani into the time rip. They did and ended up in the right place and the right time.
