For the second time in as many years, Henry VIII has lost his queen and a son. Queen Francesca de' Medici, the most Catholic Queen, has succumbed to the sweating sickness that is sweeping through England. The King fled, fearing death for himself and his daughter Meg from his first marriage to Margaret Shelton. But even the King can't outrun the sickness as it strikes down those in his household as well as those in the country. Whenever this passes, there is no question the King must choose another wife. He has reigned for almost four years and c an still boast no male heir. Meanwhile, women of his court have been reading banned books that smack of heresy. There are murmurs of other ladies undertaking artistic endeavors to try and keep their mind off the Sweat, and there are courtiers who would gladly stick a knife between the ribs of others to settle old scores and blood feuds. Sweating sickness or not, the court of Henry VIII is an exceptional place. Do you have what it takes to survive? Home | Rules | Canons | Application | Character Requests
