Physical Appearance:
The Salvador twins are almost complete copies of each other. Hailing from Argentina, the two possess traits of their ethnicity. They have the light colored skin with a tinge of tan about it. Their hair is a light brown color, thick and full. They share the same pairs of large exquisite smoky eyes, colored dark brown like balsam wood. Their eyes always shine with a glint of cleverness and dedication. Back in their home in Argentina, they were known to be quite the heart throbs, and it’s not hard to imagine why. Their features are soft but strong, a shapely jaw line that is just crossing into being chiseled but managing to pull off at curves. They both stand at 5’7 now, but throughout their life never have they exceeded each other by the slightest inch. Both of them carry mirror expressions of each other, mostly because they always know what each other are thinking about. They having joint knowing expressions, and have the habit of biting their lower lips, or thumbing their ear lobes (Gonzalo left, Rainerio right)

Their physique is toned from being avid soccer players since they were five. They don’t possess any abnormally large musculature for sixteen year olds, but they are in extremely good shape and have well shaped bodies. Their builds are slender, easy to swoop in and out of the field. The two of them also possess an adequate amount of acrobatic and capoeira skills, which also helps in the conditioning of their bodies.

Taking that into consideration, it seems that the two of them are indistinguishable from each other. Actually, at certain times they are indistinguishable from each other, except for the minutest details that would be difficult to pick out unless you have known the twins for a long time. Such difference includes, Gonzalo having a slightly narrower face, his eyes are also slightly smaller than his brother’s and his mouth slightly less full. The very distinguishable difference at the moment is that Gonzalo also has hair up to his shoulders while Rainerio has shorter hair. But if they had the same hairstyle then people could be fooled in thinking that they saw double.

Personality Description:
One cannot describe the Salvador twins separately with much success. Everything about the two seems to depend upon the fact that they’re together. They are closer to each other than it is humanly possible to be, mainly because of their ability to interface with each other. Through their bond, they communicate almost instantaneously, often speaking in unison or finishing one another's sentences. They can function individually, but really would prefer to function as one unit. They are very dependent on each other in fact; prolonged separation from each other causes both twins to experience high levels of anxiety until they are reunited.

As a collective, the two boys seem like very good kids. They have intrinsic heroic values, and give a high importance to the concept of family. Perhaps, one extremely important aspect of their personality is their cleverness. The boys possess the ability to always think on their feet and to intuitively adapt to their situation. They are fiercely determined in whatever endeavor they pursue, as long as they have each other as a support system. With this, they are never afraid to stick to defending what they think is right…making them ideal to fit the roles of Heroes.

They also do possess their share of negative traits, such as being extremely biased when it comes to each other. Even when one brother does wrong, the other will defend to death. This prevents them from ever really learning from their mistakes. This over-protection stems from both of them seeing each other as the most important person in the world. They are also excessively manipulative when they want to be, especially to get back at people who have wronged them in some way. The revenge of the twins usually comes ten times more devastating than the act done to them.

They can also be quite endearing when they wish to be, it isn’t that hard to fall in love with the twins. Having bombarded at both sides by their charm and their wit, people tend to fall under their spells. There is also the issue however of them sometimes having the tendency to be Machiavellian. Many may not agree with their methods, such as seemingly needless sacrifices, but they stick with each other till the end, no matter what.

Power/Ability:

Hive Mind - In the stories, the twins always knew what the other one was thinking. This is apparent with the Salvador twins; they always know where the other one is, and can read each other’s thoughts and are aware of what the other one will do next. This makes them extremely coordinated, and also provides them with a resistance to telepathic attacks. They can also exchange their senses with each other, such as seeing through each other’s eyes or feeling each other’s pain, among other things.

Telepathy - The Mayans were great believers for telepathy. In fact the heads of the twins were used to signify the date in the Mayan calendar where all humans would be telepathically unified. Powerful telepaths individually, their combined power is even greater than its sum. These powers allow them the psychic standards of broadcasting/receiving thoughts, mind control, planting illusions, force blasts of pure psionic energy, astral projection, etc

Regeneration - The Hero twins from the myth were shown to survive many things such as having limbs (even heads) turned off and even being reduced to ashes. The Salvador twins hence possess a natural healing factor that is strong enough that they can virtually survive any form of injury. It should be noted however that each of their healing factors are only accessible when the other one is present, making them dependent on each other as the sort of trigger for their regeneration.

Alternate Form - The Hero twins from the myth ended their journey by climbing up into the sky and actually turning into the sun and the moon. Similarly, Rainerio and Gonzalo can achieve a state of being where they seem to be solar and lunar entities respectively. Rainerio becomes the Solar Deity, and his entire body morphs into a fairly humanoid in-shape creature created from a swirling mass of pulsating orange solar energy. In this form, Rainerio becomes virtually impervious to physical harm as he is created from energy. He releases a high amount of radiation, which he needs to keep in check...or have his brother keep in check through their link. He can fire blasts of solar energy with a high heat and light signature, he can also entice solar flares, and fly under his own gravitational field. He can also perform acts of energy constructs with the energy comprising his body. Gonzalo becomes the Lunar deity, his appearance is very similar to that of his brother, except that the light comprising him is silver. He also becomes impervious to physical harm, but he does not release any radiation. He does however possess the ability to wax and wane his visibility, achieving states of translucence. He can also use his own gravitational field to fly, or manipulate tides to a certain degree when near enough. He can also perform acts of energy constructs with the energy comprising his body.

WELCOME TO MY LIFE ' '

Origin: Puerto Igual, Argentina
History:
The Salvador twins were born to Enrique Salvador and his wife Maja. Enrique was an upcoming football player, ready for the national cup. However, these cups were rigged by the criminal underground of Argentina. They asked him to throw the game, but he didn’t and was therefore killed for it. That left Maja, widowed and needing to live with Enrique’s mother in their small town in Puerto Igual. The Old woman was very abusive, for she didn’t like Maja for her son…and this dislike radiated to the two twins. She also had adopted an older set of twins before Gonzalo and Rainerio were born, and these two adopted-uncles of their treated them very badly.

The two adopted-uncles were around five years their senior, and were quite the lazy slobs of the house…often making the younger twins do the chores and getting them into trouble as often as they could. The Salvador twins really made nothing of this, after all they couldn’t do anything about it…well they could, and they did. Around when they were pre teens, their adopted uncles tried to get them into trouble by making them steal the neighbor’s pet parakeets that had a nest in a tall tree. The twins knew they were just being duped, and so formulated a plan. They somehow convinced their adopted-uncles that the neighbors kept their savings in these said bird houses, and the two wasted no time in scrambling up to try and get their hands on the money. They didn’t account however for how tall the tree was, and were unable to get down. The Salvador twins suggested making a rope out of their clothes and climbing down, which the older twins listened to out of desperation. They tried to climb down (naked) but their clothes couldn’t hold their weight and they fell into the neighbor’s compost pit. When they went back to the grandmother, even she couldn’t contain her laughter at the two older boys covered in grime and smelling like two week old rot.

That was just one of the many exploits of the twins in out witting their adoptive uncles…they displayed this uncanny knack to always come out on top. It was also evidenced when they had an encounter with a pompous move-in to their Town who flashed his wealth and wrestled the small businesses from the people. The twins created this scheme involving medical and dental care fraud, and pegged everything on the fop, causing him to lose his fortune, for which he would later commit suicide for.

When they entered into their teen years however, that was when their real drama started. Their mother, didn’t want them playing football, for fear that they would suffer similar fates to their father. But the twins still stumbled upon their father’s old uniform and ball, and sure enough developed a great liking and skill to the sport. Apart from that they also began learning Capoeira, being a border region to Brazil. They managed to utilize these into the sport, and at the same time their abilities also began to manifest as they slowly began to develop a hive-mind. They just dismissed this as the twin telepathy that just happens more frequently for them.

They began becoming extremely excellent football players, an unbeatable tandem especially considering they could weave in and out of their enemy players and still pass the ball expertly. Their skill brought them to the attention of the same criminal underground that sentenced their father to death. They were already trying to commission the boys; so that once they went national the games could still be rigged. The boys refused, and one of the senior members of the underground…threatened them with the same fate of their father. They were given a week to make the “right” decision.

In the course of the week, certain “reminders” were sent their way. Luckily, the twin’ hive mind had developed to such an extent that they functioned amazingly as a fighting unit and could fend off their attackers. They decided this couldn’t continue and they either had to put and end to the criminal underground or be on guard for the rest of their lives. It was however also the time when the representatives from Pantheon arrived. They offered protection for the boy’s family and an opportunity to gain more power in order to avenge their father. An opportunity that they took.
