Physical Appearance: At first glance anyone would immediately be drawn to Helena's body and wild mess of hair. She is embarrassingly tall, at least that's how she sees it. Throughout school she has always towered over her peers. It wasn't until high school that the boys finally sprouted up and was about the same height as her. Her mother used to joke that she was born to touch the sky, which was why she was tall like her father. However, Helena was never soothed by this. She felt unwomanly and unfeminine as she got older which was the furthest thing she wanted to be. As she aged her body filled out slightly more enough to give her small curves. She isn't your typical bombshell blonde since she is way too thin for that, but she does have an eccentric beauty to her when you take her personality into account.
As for her dramatic hair...that's by choice. One summer Helena's mum gave in to her daughter's insistent pleading and gave her a perm. Of course Helena didn't listen to her mother and she went outside while it was raining the day after her perm was done. The result was uncontrollable frizzy hair which Helena cried herself to sleep over. The next few days she managed to calm the hair down and got a wild curly look that wasn't so frizzy. She feel in love with it and learned to recreate the look with a curler and a crimper. When Helena was thirteen she began to dye her hair blond. However, she doesn't keep her true hair color as a secret since she is fond of sometimes letting her roots grow in to get a mixture of blond and brown. Her family never liked it too much, but it's the hairstyle Helena has always stuck with.
Helena's posture isn't the nicest, much to her mother's dismay though she has a way of carrying herself which comes across as not so much confident, but classy. Helena isn't the type to cause trouble with people and that's obvious in the way she interacts. She's very friendly and stands with an open and approachable posture. Her clothes can be a little off putting at first, but they really don't reflect the majority of her personality. Helena does have an artistic side and her clothing choice in the quirky aspect about her. Best way to describe her clothing vibe is rocker and party animal. Her clothes look as if she just rolled out of bed, though it manages to work quite nicely for her. More often than not Helena can be found in boots, whether they are combat or high heeled. Occasionally sneakers and never sandals or formal shoes.
To say Helena is cute is an understatement. She has a lovely face though it is never the center of attention about her appearance. Because people are drawn to her hair and clothes, her face is often overlooked and in a way makes her look more natural than out there make up and blatant beauty. It didn't take long for the opposite sex to notice her and Helena definitely did not hide away from them. She often dresses her eyes up with eyeliner and eyeshadow since she feels that's her best feature. Occasionally she will be artistic with her make up, but it's not an everyday occurrence.
LET'S GET TO KNOW YOU BETTER ' '
Personality Description:
Helena is probably the saddest and yet happiest example of a person you will ever find. Her strongest redeeming quality is her amazing capacity to love. She is the girl who will cry while watching commercials about hurt animals, kids, or people with disabilities. Her compassion for people is endless and anyone who is on the receiving end can tell that. Her ability to love makes her ridiculously maternal towards children. She is the choice baby sitter among adults and is the one that everyone says is going to have a huge tribe for a family when she is older. However her capacity of love doesn't end for the helpless. Perhaps the two most important objects of her affections are her father and her sister. Helena also has the overwhelming need to love and be loved. From family, friends, and lovers. Ever since entering secondary school and adolescence she was an early bloomer when it came to boys. At age thirteen she lost it to her first love. But Helena is by no means a slag or whore. Every lover she shares her bed with she convinces herself she is truly and completely in love.
But being a love goddess, it's hard to find one person who is able to share that and not grow tired of each other. By no means is Helena an adulterer, she hates people like that. But she knows that she is young and often there is a mutual parting between herself and her lovers, it isn't long after that before she is falling head over heels again. Because of her strong emotions, Helena creates strong ties with every positive encounter. If you are her friend or family you are part of her brood and she will defend you til her dying breath. Helena is fierce with it comes to protecting her loved ones, though she stays away from physical fights. Vocally she is your worst enemy and she is persistent as well as patient. Loyalty to a person only fuels her need to avenge them and she isn't one to let a grudge go easily. As far as physical goes, Helena normally steps back and lets her sister handle that if she wants to.
When it comes to herself she is selfless. All sense of protectiveness seems to dissipate when it comes to herself. She will easily let herself be bullied and hurt rather than lift a finger to fight back. Always the protector of other, but never of herself. When Helena does experience problems she normally turns to the bottle even more frequently than she does already. Normally she is a functioning alcoholic, but just like students addicted to cigarettes, it's not easy to hide the small hints that give it away. Whenever she is dealing with a big problem, her drunken antics become worse and often she will do outlandish things, be uncontrollable, and embarrass herself until someone steps in to control her. Often it's Kelsy who has to draw the reigns and put her sister back together. Often the fact that she drinks is quiet a surprise since she always comes across as so classy and noble by staying out of fights. Therefore Helena tries her best to keep it a secret. Many suspect, but only her twin knows the truth and how bad it can get.

Power/Ability: Necromancy. Hathor was the Goddess who welcomed the dead into the next life. She was called the Mistress of the West or the Mistress of the Necropolis and was the opposite of the cow goddess Bat who was associated with Ba, an aspect of the soul. Therefore Helena cannot summon full bodies and has trouble summoning spirits to do her bidding. However she can easily commune with the spirit world and sees spirits often.
WELCOME TO MY LIFE ' '
Origin: Glasgow, Scotland
History:
Stewart and Mary had fallen in love instantly, even though the two were complete polar opposites. Mary was a high ranking military official who had a knack for military tactics as well as a secret love for fighting. While Stewart was a quite man though he was brimming with intelligence and the need to know. He worked as an archeologist at the British Museum in London and often spent his work days hidden behind books, artifacts, and papers. The two insisted on starting a family in a small community called Bears Den within Glasgow, rather than the busy and often dangerous city of London. At first the commute was tough between the newlyweds, but Mary quickly adjusted to being ruler of the roost due to her husbands absence. It wasn't long before she became pregnant and with twins. Stewart remained with his wife throughout most of the pregnancy, but was forced to leave her for a few months to work in Egypt.
Seven months into her pregnancy, Mary went to visit her husband for the last time before she would be forced to stay in Scotland until after the birth of the twins. During a boat tour on the Nile Mary started having contractions and by the time the couple pulled ashore her water broke right on the banks. She was rushed to a local Cairo hospital where she gave birth to Kelsy and Helena. Despite being premature, both babies were surprisingly strong and within a month the family flew back to Scotland. Both sisters were completely opposite right off the bat, Kelsy had amazing red hair and Helena had dark brunette hair. It was easy to see that each child had taken after one parent more than the other. Helena was quiet and gentle like her father and showed a maternal streak early on. Growing up in a rural and older end of Bears Den, the girls were introduced to the quiet life as well. An old neighbor who ran a small milk farm often let the girls come over during lambing season or when the cows had given birth.
Helena grew to love the cows especially and occasionally her neighbor would allow her to milk the cows. It didn't often work though since cows don't have much patience for children. When the girls entered school it was a smooth transition, though Mary lost her two best helpers for part of the day. Within the years the family had grown to include another sibling. By secondary school Helena and Kelsy were the sisters of four younger siblings. Helena loved to take care of her brothers and sisters and had the perfect demeanor for small children. However as the family had grown, so had Stewart's reputation at the British Museum. So when a scandal including him came out, it rocked the family as well as Stewart's superiors. Important Egyptian artifacts had gone missing during radiocarbon dating tests and since Stewart was in charge of that department he was blamed. Helena and Kelsy had been enrolled in private school after her mother insisting on it. It was a part time boarding school and they came home on the weekends.
When the museum's scandal came out it was in the national papers and inescapable. Kids with well to do parents found joy in picking on the twins and jeering about how their father stole the artifacts for himself. Of course the two girls knew that was a lie. Neither had ever seen the artifacts near the house and her father made enough money to live comfortably without being a thief as well. Over time kids even found out about the way the Ormond lived and began to tease Helena about her affection towards farm life and cows. Helena's self esteem took a crash when the kids began to refer to her as a cow as well, though she was the farthest thing from it. The blonde began to turn to drinking in order to escape the problems at school and eventually at home. Kelsy got in trouble after starting fights with girls over their father and Helena and was therefore expelled. Helena left the school willingly with her sister over spring term break.
It was hard to find a new school after Kelsy was expelled. She had landed two girls in the hospital and another girl had been seriously injured, though not quite emergency room worthy. Although the school wasn't aware Helena had kept watch while her sister beat up the girls and due to the uninterrupted fight Kelsy had gone to town on them. Of course once the girls limped home Kelsy was caught though they didn't rat out Helena, probably in fear that she would tell them of the bullying she had went through. To make matters worse her father was out of a job and the family had to cut back on living expenses. Life was going downhill and Helena couldn't imagine it getting any worse. But it did.
Along with her excessive drinking Helena began to hallucinate. She began to see people who weren't really there. Often she would point them out to Kelsy, but Kelsy could never see them. One day, by sheer will, she made a man appear to Kelsy when they were walking past a cemetery. The next day Pantheon Academy arrived and explained to the girls what they were. They offered a free scholarship that would pay for all schooling. Despite how sudden the whole event was, their parents couldn't turn down an opportunity for free education.
