STRIKE A POSE ' '
Physical Appearance: Estella likes colors. She’s long forgotten what her natural hair color was and dyes it all manner of colors based on the color spectrum. She usually gets her inspiration from various nebulas she’s seen through her telescope and dyes accordingly. This means her hair ranges from anything to green, blue, pink, red, etc. She also tends to wear a lot of make-up and rather dramatically too.
She's about 5'7" in height, fairly average, but likes to lord it over her younger sister who's much shorter. She's fairly pale, but not sickly so. Most of it is make-up. She has hazel green eyes, that seem to gleam and change like a nebula. She's curvy in all the right places and not stickly thing, again, something she likes to lord over her younger sister. She's usually smiling and it's rare to see her frown.
Estella tends to dress in a sort of punk goth hybrid style, with all sorts of colors. Again, she gets her sense of style from the heavens and tends to dress in wide spectrum of colors, like a prism. She also sports a lip piercing that she's managed to hide from her mother for four years now.
LET'S GET TO KNOW YOU BETTER ' '
Personality Description: The polar opposite of her sister Melody, Estella is a very happy person. She's not annoyingly bubbly and smiling all the time like some idiotic anime character, but it's rare to see her frowning. It doesn't come from some odd optomistic outlook on life, but from a firm sense of confidence in herself. Estella is very confident and generally won't take crap from anyone, no matter how hard they dish it.
Estella loves the stars, the planets, the moon, the sun, the whole cosmos. It's not unusual to see her out late at night with her prized telescope practically sewn to her eye, making all sorts of monkey "ooo" and "ahhh" noises over a nebula or a star or Venus or whatever. Sometimes, she more into the sky than she is into people and it's not usual to be talking to her, only to see her staring with a film over her eyes at the sun saying, "Hey, see that sunspot? Doesn't it look like the Star Trek sign, mate?"
Estella is a fairly flirty person, but not obnoxiously so. She's in no hurry to find a mate and settle down. Not to mention, she has a younger sister to look after and can see into the future.

Power/Ability: Precognition- Urania was able to tell the future by the stars. Estella can similarly tell the future. It's also generally stronger at night under the stars, which she can read like a book and aid her abilities.
Gravitational Manipulation- Urania, as muse of astrology, was primarily in the business of stars and the cosmos. One of the most fundamental parts of astronomy and stars is their gravitational pull on other plants, celestial objects, other stars, etc. etc. Estella, because she's a muse who does a lot of star things, can control the gravitational force of objects.
Energy Manipulation- Going along with the whole star theme, stars are made up of energy in various states. All things are essentially energy, though she primarily deals with celestial energy or energy used to make a star. Combined with gravitational manipulation, Estella can make her own stars.
WELCOME TO MY LIFE ' '
Origin: Edinburgh, Scotland
Relatives:
- Jasper Edris Freedmont
- Katherine Hannah MacPhee
- Melody Jael Freedmont-MacPhee
- The rest of the Freedmont tribe
History: Estella is probably the only one of her numerous siblings that has actually seen her father more than twice in her lifetime. Katherine was a good friend of J.E. and, during a drunken one-night stand, conceived the fetus that would be Estella. Not the settling down type, J.E. left before Estella was born. When Katherine wrote to him about their daughter, he was already off conceiving other children, but wrote back promising he would visit. And he did visit. Four years later.
From what she remembers about his father, he was overly confident, but had a great smile. He liked the laugh, had a flirtatious nature (with Estella's mother), knew his history, had a penchant for the dramatic and bought Estella her first telescope. Then, he was gone. Nine months later, Estella had a sister named Melody.
It was that telescope that caused Estella's crazy preoccupation with cosmos. The girl delved deep into astrology and astronomy, reading books about the cosmos that were way above her level. Her mother, surprised that her daughter was a astronomical genius, immediately tried to find a school that was at her adequate level. There were none. Estella just watched the stars on her own, charting them, naming them, loving them.
When Estella hit puberty, she was looking through her telescope one day and saw something. Looking at the stars she could tell what would happen next, a kind of rudimentary astrology. She could tell that the following day, her sister would throw a temper tantrum over eating celery and her mother would get a parking ticket. They were both little things, but, sure enough, they happened. Soon, Estella didn't even need the stars to tell the future. She would get flashes of visions and, on occasion, manage to bring them on herself. The would come in dreams, in visions, or in the stars.
Soon, she found out via a vision, that her sister would begin exhibiting strange abilities as well, feeling negative emotions and in turn pushing them on others. The only person they didn't seem to work on, much to her sister's annoyance, was Estella. Sure enough, her sister did just that.
One day, Estella and her sister received a letter from their father, notifying them that they weren't alone, that they had a bunch of other siblings. Katherine laughed it off, saying, "My, your dad's been busy." Wanting them to meet their siblings, Katherine sent the two girls to visit in Wisconsin. Come to find out, the others all had abilities too.
A little after she met her long lost siblings, Estella received another letter. This one was from a strange school, claiming they would give her the special educational needs her mother wanted. When she actually attended the school, they told her she was the muse Urania. It all made sense, after that she started at the school shortly after her other half-sisters and half-brother with Melody soon to follow.
CONNECTION TO THE MYTH ' '
- Urania was known for being able to fortell the future by the stars and Estella has the ability of precognition, which is generally stronger when she's outside at night.
- The muse had a philandering father and Estella is one of many non-wedlock children.
- Urania had a lot of siblings, so does Estella.
- Both really REALLY like the cosmos.
ROLEPLAYING SAMPLE ' '
Estella gazed deep into her telescope, one eye closed making her look a little like a pirate with a bent back. It was a windy night, her blue hair streaming behind her in snake-like whips. She wore about three jackets, but it still wasn't enough. Not that she minded. There was nothing she could mind today, even the brooding glares of her baby sister. You see, there was a lunar eclipse. True, lunar eclipses are much more frequent than sun eclipses, and most people don't think twice about them, but Estella always went gaga over any and all things astronomical. Ever since her illusive father first presented her with her first telescope, long since traded it for a more powerful model, Estella hasn't looked to the Earth, but to heavens.
Slowly, as if a finger were inching it's way across the whole of a camera, the moon began to vanish. The ancient Koreans used to say that it was a dog eating the moon and they had to scare it away with loud noise so it would return.
And, right on cue, Estella pulled herself away from the telescope, scooped up a pot and wooden spoon she "borrowed" from her school kitchen and began banging away, wearing it out like a three year old. She began screaming and prancing around, the wood hitting the pot with the same gusto a little kid might have when actually allowed to make noise. Windows from her dorm began to light up. A few people poked out their heads, looks of annoyance on their faces. She ignored them.
Whirrling and twirling around, banging her pot, she stopped suddenly to see the disaproving face of her sister, Melody.
"What?" Estella asked, now banging with more authority, "I'm chasing the dog eating the moon away."
