Physical Appearance: Early in life, the 18 year old learned the truth of the old saying, ‘A picture is worth a thousand words’ as well as the fact that one image has the possibility of a thousand interpretations, brought on by fear and imagination. He considered it his job to keep them guessing, so his appearance is often his canvas.
Standing roughly around 6'2", he’s around the average to tall side of his age group. His body frame is lean, but not slender, containing somewhat hidden muscles under his slightly tanned skin. Not the person to over-compensate for physique, Dante will never be seen “bulking up” in a gym. He would much rather take others by surprise than be so blatantly obvious.
His hair is a deep, dark brown that most likely originated from his possible father. Normally keeping it semi-long in length, it never usually goes past his shoulders. As far as the styles, it normally varies depending on the occasion or how he wants others to see him as that particular day. Most of the time it is greased or cleanly kept, but there have also been times it looks like it hasn’t been brushed in days, as well as others where he is wearing a hat to cover it up. As always he tries to seem unpredictable.
It’s his eyes though, that most people tend to notice right away. Like dark pools of the unknown, with an occasional spark, they have a piercing quality most find disturbing and sharper than knife that cuts to the heart of things. Only those that have unyielding confidence appear to be able to look at them directly for longer than a few moments. In some cases they have been known to have a freezing affect on those softer hearted.
As for his attire, it tends to lean toward the more wealthy or traditional wear a student might have at a private boarding school. He has been seen dressed from suits to dark button down shirts and slacks and a few variations in between. Just like anything it all depends on his preference, occasion, as well as weather to what he might deem as appropriate. In cold weather or rain, he also tends to add a jacket or coat, ranging from a trench coat to a leather jacket.
LET'S GET TO KNOW YOU BETTER ' '
Personality Description: Mysterious: Being secretive in nature, Dante always tends to carry an elusive presence in many ways. He would far rather listen to others spill their secrets and gossip than reveal his own. To know a person’s true self is to know their weaknesses and he doesn’t want to make himself look weak in any aspect. Only those that earn his trust can get a better glimpse of how he feels about things, but even so, most don’t ever know it all.
Charismatic: Even though mysterious, he has the magnetic personality that seems to draw attention and his affect and understanding of others emotions, whether obvious or not, is a talent to be noted. He is a leader at heart and often uses it to persuade others for one reason or another.
Intelligent: Knowing several different languages, including written Hyroglyphs, and being fairly well rounded in scool studies, he is known to be extremely smart. He thrives on knowledge and enjoys delving into the unknown and finding answers to questions rarely asked. Occasionally his confidence in this area can cause trouble, sometimes leading him to traps and snares, though he usually is resourceful enough to get out again.
Vengeful: As understanding of human nature he can be, when it comes to betrayal, there are no second chances. An eye for an eye a tooth for a tooth, or so the saying goes. For him no wrongdoing ever goes without consequences and he is the one to usually demand retribution. Trust is hard to gain with him, so when he feels cheated it hurts twice as bad as if it was ripped from his heart.
Loyal: To those he calls friend and trust with all his heart, Dante is about as loyal as you can get. He will stand by your side as long as he sees you worthy and the only thing that would sever it would be betrayal. Though, rumors of deception hardly ever count in his book, so he would have to be solid in his convictions before judgement is passed. Other than that he is like the best ally you could have.

Goal: To have ultimate control of his powers and fulfill his potential
Power/Ability: Life Force Manipulation: His main power revolves around controlling the life force in any living organisms, from plants to animals, as well as humans. There are two different ways that this can occur. The first is the more positive aspect where he can give life and/or healing to those that need it. Cuts and broken bones are the most common he ever deals with, as well as the growth and fertility of plants, but in the past he has seemingly brought back to life a few dead animals. Just as long as the corpse hasn’t started to putrefy then the possibility of resurrection still remains. The weakness for this is that giving life, at least in great quantities, can easily wear him down. Simple things such as plant growth and minor injuries are no problem, but if he has to go as far enough as raise the dead or heal a fatal injury, his own energy is compromised greatly and he’ll require rest to restore himself.
He also has the ability to take life. As negative and fatal as it seems, he does draw power from this. For as he steals away their life’s energy, Dante can absorb it into his own. This can enhance his strength, ability to heal himself, as well as become nearly impossible to kill. The downside to this is the fact it is an inner vice within his soul. To gain power he must take away from others and it requires a certain mindset to do it right. Normally, he tries his best to resist this side, but it isn’t always successful.
Emotions play a key role in both aspects of his abilities, so Dante is adamant on keeping his own in check. Positive feelings such as happiness, love, peace, relaxed, and enjoyment cause everything around him to prosper. Negative emotion from anger, depression, jealousy, stress, revenge, etc. can easily cause death and sickness of those around him. For the most part he does seem to control them, but no one is perfect and mistakes have been made. The more intense the emotion the more reactive his powers are.
His powers also require focus, unless they start to affect everything around him. With the positive side it doesn’t matter as much, unless he is attempting to heal a specific injury or grow a certain plant, but when it comes to death, Dante tries to focus it on lesser organisms if possible, not wanting cause injury to those around him. This only changes if he is more angry towards one person and his temptation to use it against them becomes greater.
WELCOME TO MY LIFE ' '
Place of Origin: Abydos, Egypt [Nationality: British]
History:
Confusion and outrage were the main reaction when Daemon heard of Dante’s conception, being a busy man as it was, he had no want for a son. As much as he cared for his wife, Aris, being and Ambassador to Egypt seemed a greater cause than adding to the already crowded populace. But within 9 months after they had a bitter fight over the subject, she gave birth to a son. This was impossible!...unless she had an affair…
After several more arguments, Daemon finally got the truth. The vacation she went on to explore the new discoveries of the Sphynx, led to a few warm nights with the head archeologist, Jareth. He had been the one to find the hidden Osiris tomb beneath it and obviously his wife had thought to reward him. Either that, or she was so desperate to have a child, she would have done it with anyone. As enraged as he was, though, divorce would not be possible lest the scandal would be publicized. He would not allow this to ruin his career like a politician. So putting on a façade, he “accepted” the burden of raising Dante as his own. That didn’t mean he would love him as his own.
So, it should be understood that Dante’s childhood was a bit rough. Most of the time his parents bitterly argued, only showing affection in the public eye and when necessary. Being an intelligent child, he already knew he was unwanted. As for the truth on his biological father, he didn’t even have a name, or more truthfully, a real name. Daemon often referred to the other as a troll or worm with an infinite number of curses beforehand.
Because of this, Dante often times spent his days alone, going to school, or exploring the many mysteries Egypt had to offer. He never was a lad to sit around idle for there was always something to see just around the corner. Little did he realize, wherever he went the plants and animals appeared to proper or perish, depending on his mood. Even the Nile seemed to react at his presence, but these things only appeared coincidental at first. As the years rolled by, his talent would slowly become more pronounced.
Shortly after his eleventh birthday, on one of his excursions near the river, Dante came across a dead bird. As curious as most boys were at that age, he couldn't help but pick it up. By the looks of it, the bird didn't seem damaged or rotten as he would expect, but it remained lifeless in his hand. Though, when he was about to bury it in the clay, out of nowhere it camed to life. As amazing as it seemed, he only figured that perhaps it had just ben stunned all along.
It wasn’t until he was about to enter highschool that he and Daemon a bitter fight of their own. In a fit of rage, things around him started to die, from birds above to the surrounding plants. He almost killed his known father before a strange man entered their home. It was then they were told of who he actually was and that he needed to be trained as to not cause unduly chaos on earth. Relenting, they allowed him to join and for the next few years he would soon become one of the greats. If only Jareth knew…

ROLEPLAYING SAMPLE ' '
For a thief, Conn was often seen dressed far better than most with such limited income. Filth, grime, and injury did little good when trying to blend in. At least when trying to seem at the caliber of the rich and wealthy. There was little sense in stealing from the people who already had nothing. So at a very young age, the lad became aware that appearance played a large role when it came to getting as close to his targets to take what was valuable. That mean fairly clean clothes. Somewhat difficult to come by in his line of work, though manageable.
Before he even arrived, Conner had spent those many days and night on ship planning every detail of who he was suppose to be. Having the name O'Brien helped in the matter, knowing that on Irish soil those of his name sake were high up in the Aristocracy and had much influence, so why not put it to use and say he was just another wandering son? He had always liked playing the upper class, and for a rogue, Conner thought himself a natural.
So now he wandered the streets in a clean white shirt, well fitted red vest, tie, and trousers to fit the part. Not the most elegant, but he could always give the excuse he had just arrived and hadn't time to change. He also lacked the servants and normal entourage, but that too could easily be sidestepped if need be. This could be easily pulled off as long as he got a steady flow of coin from the senseless or drunk crowds,
Just as he thought this, his dark eyes glimpsed a worthy target just ahead. As beautiful as she was, he could easily recognize the 'head in the clouds' stare and with expert haste with the ability of an actor, he began his new role, allowing her to collide into him, giving him the perfect chance to release the burden of her thick purse from her delicate frame.
With a gentle hand and a smirk, he steadied her as his eyes gave her a closer look. For as sweet as she sounded, the thief almost felt guilty for his well earned take. In a cool voice, he answered, "Well then I must thank you for tha'. If you handna I wouldn't have been graced with such a radiant presence of a beautiful woman..After a journey like I had..it's a pleasure I sorely missed..."
