Significance of Name:
Filius is Latin for Son and Anteros was the son of Ares and Aphrodites
Romeo was a character in Shakespeare’s play, ‘ The Tragedy Of Romeo and Juliet’. The play had been about two lovers who’s love was doomed because of their families dislike for each other. Anteros had watched over the metic Timagoras and his love for the Athenian Meles. When Timagoras died to prove his love for Meles by throwing himself over a cliff as Meles had told him to. Anteros got Meles to feel guilty and throw himself over also. He was dead as he hit the ground.
Vindex is Latin for avenger and Anteros was an avenger of unrequited love

Physical Appearance:
Filius is of average height and weight as he stands about 5’6” from the ground up and weighs a good 150 pounds. His skin is lightly tanned and the atheletic build of a track and field runner. Not overly muscular but enough so that you could see them and know he wasn’t a weakling in the least. His hair is somewhat short, sometimes he'll let it grow out so that it reaches his ears. His hair is a dark blonde in somelights but is actually a light blonde and he usually has his bangs swept to the side if he does allow his hair to grow out because it becomes curly. His eyes color is a vibrant blue-green. His face his angular and depending on his mood his eye color will range from a solid green to a solid blue but most of the time it will be blue-green.

Filius’s style of clothing is dependant on his mood or the day. Usually he’s dressed in bright colors such as light blue, red, white or green and sometimes but rarely ever yellow but once in a while he will wear it. He prefers the sophisticated bad-boy look to anything else but he does have a few army themed clothing in his drawers thanks to his dad. He likes to wear ripped jeans and short sleeved shirts but unsurprisingly his taste in clothing is excellent. Never would he be caught wearing something that was an absolute fashion faux paw.

Personality Description:
Filius or as he likes to call himself, Luis, is a bit of an enigma aside from being just a wee bit crazy. He’s a bit of a daredevil and likes to do crazy tricks or stunts that other people would never do. He is also into free-running or parkour as some call it. A naturally happy-go lucky guy, Filius is amazingly sweet-tempered and doesn’t usually hold grudges. He’s very polite and always has a smile on his face no matter what though when he first meets people he is exceptionally shy. His voice is amazingly soft, hardly ever raising above normal speech. He likes to have fun and take things easy but when it comes to love and relationships he’s anything but easy going.

A natural romantic Filius is what most people would call the perfect lover. He’s always thoughtful and kind, thinking of his partner first and himself second. He’s protective of his lovers and likes to make them happy as well as give them things. He’s exceptionally loyal to his partners, not even looking at another man or woman in interest while his is in a relationship. He likes to take his partners out on dates or have a little date at home or something like that. The only bad thing is that he takes relationships a bit serious though not overly so to the point where it is lovey-dovey. He is always extremely affectionate and he loves physical contact, where it can range from just hugging or leaning against the person. He is considerate of how far his partner would like to go in their relationship and never thinks to push them farther than they want to. Though if there is a break up Filius holds no grudges against his partner and would actually like to continue being friends. However, he might have a hard time getting over the person it wont take long for him to be his usual perky self.

As a reincarnation of the God of Requited love it always makes him sad to see people who have not found the joy in relationships. Just as it makes him angry when scorners have nothing good to say about love or hurt the people harshly who confess to them. These are the only times Filius is anything but sweet-tempered and gentle. Almost like a raging typhoon Filius is as scary as any God can be. He doesn’t appreciate those who purposely hurt people who confess to them and makes it his duty to get them back for it. He’s gotten into many fights before because of this and has proven himself to be an exceptional fighter.

He is loyal to all those he calls friends or family as well as those he considers himself close to. He would die for those he cared about and would never regret it. Filius is the kind of person who would hold a grudge against those who tried to harm those he cared about. While it is somewhat easy to gain Filius’s trust at first if you betray him it is almost impossible to gain it back. Filius is not the kind of person who easily forgives those who have taken his trust and kindness for granted.

Power/Ability:Physical Power-Flight- Filius is able to fly to great heights and as fast as a jet. His body weight seems to lessen and at first he only floats above the ground but instantaneously he shoots up into the air. He is able to do many twists and turns in the air seeming almost like an acrobat. However, his flight ability is affected by his feelings or emotions. If he is happy or feeling attracted to someone he will unknowingly begin to float in the air. If angry he is unable to reach the great heights he can when he is happy or just enjoying flight. If he is sad or hurt (especially if rejected or dumped) he is unable to fly at all until he returns to his usual peppy self. Anteros was one of the Erotes, the Flying Love Gods and he had wings to fly. Thus the reason Filius has the ability to fly.

History:
On February 14th 1990 a baby boy was born to Philip Vindex and Faetella Vindex and they named him Alphonse Vindex. Phillip was an army man who had often been transferred from facility to facility. He had been in Rome when he met Faetella who was a wedding planner and they had instantly clicked together. She turned his flirtatious ways so that he would love her and he got her to come with him to the next facility in Greece. They hit it off right away during they’re time in Greece and eventually got married there. Only a year later Faetella became pregnant and thus Alphonse was born into the world and into their lives. However, it seemed they would be unable to take care of Alphonse properly because of the way their jobs had their lives so they gave him to Faetella’s sister to take care of. Only two years later they decided to try again and on March 4th Filius was born. They raised him as well as they could for four years but hearing that his older brother Alphonse was lonely they decided to give Filius to him as a playmate.

Filius and Alphonse got along great as they grew up. Becoming quite close, almost inseperable, as they did almost everything together. As the years went they gained other brothers as well as sisters. They would accompany their mother sometimes during her job to view how wedding planners work. Often the clients would sometimes call the two cupids as they liked to comment on the relationships and encourage them.

Once in a while, okay no that's a lie, quite often Filius would get into fights. Reason? Simple. He was getting revenge for broken hearted girls and boys. (No he would never hit a girl though he wouldn't have a problem pulling a prank on them). Unfortunately, the duo was pulled apart from each other. Like his other brothers, twins Nathan and Nathaniel, when his father felt Alphonse was ready to fight. Philip took Alphonse to the military base so he could prepare him for the army. Without his more outgoing half, Filius became more shy and introverted.

He'd overcome his shyness once in a while to go out with someone he liked or to try and make friends but that was about it. It was during his birthday, as he excitedly waited for his brother Alphonse to comeback from war, that Filius got the tragic news. His brother had been Killed In Action (KIA). he had been trying to save a fellow soldier when an enemy combatant shot him in the back. However, even though he was dying he continued to drag his fellow soldier to safety and help. When he was sure the other man was safe he fell to the ground already dead. Filius believed his word to have ended when he heard his other hald was dead. The next time he saw his father tehy got into a huge fight. Filius had known his twin hadn't been a fighter. Alphonse had even told their father that he didn't want to get into that war. Filius blamed his father for Alphonse's death and fell into a deep despair.

It wasn't until he met Mark that he started to recover. The young
American had shown Filius a new world, bringing him out of his dark despair. It wasn't long before they were dating and it was while dating Mark that Filius found out about his power. He had just gotten back home from Marks house. They'd been doing some...extra curricular activities. (There's no need for me to get into to it right?) Filius was basking in his new found love when he finally noticed it. He was walking up the stairs or so he thought when he looked down. Immediately, he noticed that his feet were next touching the floor.

With a startled yelp Filius's feet met the stairs a bit harshly causing them to buckle. He scrambled up the stairs and into his room before his aunt could ask him what was wrong. he tried to recreate the whole thing and grew excited when he was able to start floating once again. he messed around with his ability there, trying to fly higher and higher every day.Of course, all good things aren't meant to last and the two eventually broke up. Mark was moving back to America and Filius couldn't go with him. Though Mark had asked Filius declined saying he wanted to watch over his Aunt.

Filius didn't fall back into despair when Mark left though. Infact he was back to the way he used to be before Alphonse had left. His little power gave him new joy and excitement. it was on his birthday when he was contacted by the school. The people of Pantheon Acadmey had found him and they had come to collect him.
