Physical Appearance: Basir has a dark look about his person. His hair is a dark brown colour, almost black, and his smooth brown skin is tanned and middle-eastern. You can tell that he's of Arabic descent, even though he's got a british accent, simply because he looks so very eastern. He's the sort of guy who often gets mistaken for a terrorist and gets searched at airports all the time, although he is anything but.
He's tall, standing at around six foot, and this is shown off by his good posture. Basir isn't the type to slouch over or hunch his back. He's got a strong physique, although not too muscular or anything, he is quite well built, and rather attractive in a 'dark horse' sort of manner.
His fashion sense is average. The clothes he wears are nothing special, usually just normal trousers, perhaps jeans if he's feeling really casual, or shorts on a very warm day in the summer. As for shirts, he usually decided to keep things semi-casual, with collared shirts or a white undershirt with a v-neck cardigan. If anything was to be said about his sense of dress, it would be that he is slightly formal, and always has his clothes ironed and clean.

Personality Description: Basir is a logical thinker. He likes to take a problem to one side, isolate it from external interference and then solve it quickly before moving on. Of course, this rarely takes him long because of his superhuman intelligence, and he likes that a lot. He's not one to show off his powers consciously, but he does sometimes show off without realising, perhaps in class by answering all the questions, or on a test by scoring full marks.
He's a fair person by nature, not allowing anything unjust or criminal to go by without him interfering to try and stop it. He could be described even as noble, always trying to do the right thing whatever the cost to himself, or how far out of his way he has to go. Being a very kind and fair person, he likes to treat women with respect, not sleeping around or being a man-whore. Instead, he only gets involved with Women that he really likes, and takes relationships a little seriously, which can be slightly off putting for girls his age.
Basir's favourite subjects at school are the sciences, which he takes seriously and tries his best in, often excelling far above those in his class, although he does that in most subjects, so it's nothing too special. He doesn't care much for the arts, so tries to keep away from them, although he does like looking at Art and listening to Music, he doesn't enjoy producing these things or learning about them.
Despite being extremely intelligent, Basir does enjoy a good party every now and then. Because of his superhuman intelligence, he doesn't take long to complete homework and such, which gives him a lot of free time to party, hang out with friends and all that. Speaking of friends, Basir makes friends easily enough, just as long as he doesn't show off his intelligence too much, and he's a likeable guy when he's not in class.

Power/Ability: Basir - to be frank - is a genius. His power is a passive one known only as Superhuman intelligence. Since birth he's been more intelligent than anyone in his area. He can solve mathematical equations and algorithms in fractions of seconds, quicker than even the most advance computers.
WELCOME TO MY LIFE ' '
Place of Origin: London, UK
History: Basir's parents moved to the UK as children, and after meeting and growing up opened an electronics shop in the east of London, selling all sorts of goods from phones to microwaves to burglar alarms. Basir himself was raised in their house above the shop. Although both his parents were Muslims, they were rather liberal and unorthodox, so didn't mind as Basir developed into Agnosticism as he grew older.
Basir didn't always seem so intelligent. He didn't begin to speak until well past the age of two, but at this point he was able almost to construct full sentences straight away. He walked early to, before he was even one, and by the age of three he was able to solve complex mathematical problems which he found laying around the house (due to his fathers adult college courses - he was taking A-Level Mathematics) and although his parents hadn't yet realised it, he was already far smarter than the both of them put together. It was only when he began attending school that his intelligence was really discovered.
Basir excelled greatly, far ahead of all his classmates, and although in the UK it was very, very rare to put students ahead years for high intelligence, they offered to put him forward a year to keep him occupied. Still though, he found class incredibly easy, and had no trouble with any of the work he was given. By the age of ten he was well known in the area for his genius. He didn't have many friends, as many people saw him spitefully because of his intelligence, but some of the smarter london kids enjoyed his company, especially when at the age of ten Basir took part in a government scholarship which payed for him to be transferred to a private school for some of Englands most intelligent young geniuses. Even here, he excelled, far smarter than any of the other students, but it did keep him occupied, at least a little more than he had been at the state school.
Of course, his parents were very proud of him, but they were disappointed that he didn't wish to continue the family electronics shop: 'Ibis Electronics'. Still, they weren't surprised, and expected him to do well in life. And then a letter came to their house, a letter from a school in america. They said that he was the reincarnation of a god: the god thoth, and that his power was in actual fact one that had belonged to Thoth himself. Of course, they were delighted, if a little confused, and Basir was sent off to the school immediately, saying goodbye to London and England and saying Hello to the Olympic Peninsula.
