- Bellatrix is a Latin name meaning ‘female warrior’. Nike was one of the female warriors that protected Zeus along with her siblings. Her father was also thought to be Pallas, the supposed titan of war craft and the Greek campaign season.
- Marina the female version of Marius, a European name, derived from the name Mars who was the Roman god of War. In some versions of her parenthood, Nike’s father was Ares, the Greek god of War.
- Valetorio is an Italian name derived from the Latin word ‘valentine’ meaning ‘strong and healthy one’. Nike is often depicted as being a fit young woman in both art and literature.

Physical Appearance:
Bella is not exactly thin, but she's definately not fat. The best way to describe her body type is with the words slim and curvy. And it's true, her lithe body is made up of a small waist and extremely long legs, which is surprising for someone of her more average height. Bella has always loved her body though she doesn't like to scream it from the roof tops. Bella was trained from birth to take good care of it and to always be proud of her Italian heritage and looks.
Bella's thick blonde tresses have always been admired by others, and not only by them, Bella loves her hair and is frequantly seen fussing over it some way or another. Usually it cascades in a waterfall down her back to about mid way in soft waves but sometimes she might be bored enough to fuss over it more and might do it up in some sort of fancy bun. The main colour is a light golden blonde, and when it hits the light, softer blonde streaks can be seen. it's always been a wonder how she got blonde hair as both her parents have black hair.
Bella's most distinguishable feature will always be her face. if anyone ever sees her, they think she's beautiful sure, but her face is unusually beautiful, due more to her heritage then her playing with it. For one, her large eyes draw other's eyes to her face, then her high cheek bones and smallish nose lead them down to her naturally pouty lips and small chin. and when she smiles more features are revealed like her full cheeks and perfect teeth. Personally, Bella has doubts that her face is beautiful but she still walks with pride.
Bella's luminescant eyes are the things that usually draw people's eyes to her face. With their thickly fringed eyelashes and irises the colour of green marble, they shine and sparkle with untold mischief and mayhem. It's obvious where she gets her startling blue eyes from when you see her next to her father, which is quite rare admittedly. Sometimes she might use a little mascara and eyeliner to define her eyes that much more but usually she's too lazy to occupy herself with these more mundane activities. Usually, she will only concern herself with her hair, her clothes and maybe some lip gloss.
Bella's only peircings are the two in her ears. She got these done when she was seven after demanding for three weeks straight that she was old enough to have peircings. She's never thought of having anything else as she thinks they look slightly tacky.

Personality Description:
Bella's personality is wide and mostly unexplored, there are many unexpected turns and dives when it comes to her and only very few things are obvious about her. These things aren't the best to think about her but she doesn't mind, what you see is definately not what you get with Bella. In fact she probably should carry a warning sign.
Since she was only a small girl Bella has been very persuasive. She was always very good at persuading someone to do something and knows exactly where to push to get what she wants. Though she doesn't like to call it manipulation, it is just that. But that doesn't mean she flits from person to person only using them for what she can get out of them. No, Bella is in fact a very loyal person and loves her friends as if they were a part of her. She was never one to give it only a little bit of herself, when she does something she does it with all she's got. And with this trait she accumulates many friends who are in turn very loyal to her. Never does she think to betray them and will fight very dirty if someone trys to hurt any of them.
However, this does not mean that she lets people in easily. After having been betrayed by her parents, Bella tests her friends first to see if they will hurt her. And anyone who betrays her strong loyalty had better watch out. Bella has a nasty temper, one to match even the most angriest of gods. Unlike her twin, Bella tends to go up in flames when she is angry. People should be careful when she is angry and should not take what she says too seriously. Bella tends to say a lot of things she will later regret when she is angry. Also, when she is in a mood, for example she may be bored, lonely or annoyed at something, she can be quite belligerent. Often this gets her into trouble but Bella can't help it. She's a combative person and never shys away from a fight. Unfortunately this also means she doesn't know when to back down. Usually, Bella won't back down because she's a) stubborn and b) proud. Both these traits are a strong weaknesses within both her and her twin. Bella will often fight tooth and nail even when she knows she is wrong.
All her life, Bella has sought the attention of her parents. When she did not recieve any from them, she turned to the world around her. That's not to say she's a splot light hog, well, most of them time she's not a spot light hog. When she is pretty happy, her humour is often sarcastic and dry rather than the bubbly enthusiasm her appearance suggests. Bella hates being put in a box (metaphorically) and so likes to shock people as well. This can include doing crazy or wild things to just being sane for one whole day. Only the people closest to her can sometimes predict what she is going to do next and even then they can't help but be a little shocked. Bella's also impulsive, which you may have guessed by now. Never in her life has she ever thought about something before she did it. Where's the fun in that? No, she loves jumping headlong into a situation without worrying about the consequences. So if you're with her and she suddenly sees something she wants to try out even if it seems dangerous, run away screaming before she pulls you in.
This also ties in with her sense of adventure and her competitiveness. Like her twin Alex, Bella loves the thrill of driving fast. With her though, she can also run fast, which is a plus. Usually she drives fast to feel free of herself and everything it means to be her. It's kind of like her way of escaping. And then there's her competitive side. Like Nike, Bella loves victory. Bella has worked hard at Pantheon to be able to fight with both weapons and just her body. She has also worked to learn how to play certain instruments, sing and cook, though she is still only a just passable cook. Her impatience makes sure that Bella loves the quick thinking of subjects such as math, science and sometimes english. Though she is still creative, (aren't we all?) she's not as creative as most people. Personally, she prefers books to paint and numbers to sewing.
Like I mentioned just before, Bella is rarely patient. Being born with a proverbial spoon in your mouth is never a good thing. Never before has she had to wait for something, so she fails to realise now even at her seventeen years that she should have to wait. Ahh, if only it was a perfect world and she didn't have to wait. But sometimes she does, so watch out when this happens. In this respect, Bella takes after her father more than she cares to admit.
The last thing I wish to describe is Bella's flirtateousness. Most of the time she doesn't even mean it, she just likes the attention she recieves. And this ties back in with the attentioon she seeks from the world. That's not to say she's an attention seeking whore, no. See, as a child Bella was always flirted with because of her beauty and her riches, and so she just learned the game faster than most. Now she just does it because she's either a) bored, b) likes the boy or c) wants to get back at someone. And even if she doesn't want to, guys still flock around her. Is it such a bad thing to enjoy attention? She doesn't think so. And though this trait suggests that she is a cynic like her twin, she is actually isn't. Down deep, and I'm talking depths of the ocean and hell deep, Bella has a deep seated fear that she won't be good enough. She feels that because her parents never loved her, how could anyone else truly love her? So Bella locks away her heart under lock and key.

History:
(Okay, so I basically copied Alex's history because I'm lazy and can't be bothered to come up with a new way to explain their history.)
To start off, Bella, a couple of minutes after her twin Alex, was born on a rainy afternoon that was actually the twenty ninth of June. Of course it was rainy. What other kind of weather could have surrounded her family? Alex and Bella were the first and second to be born to Bianca, an ex model and socialite, and Paulo Valetorio, a famous race car driver turned business man, and as soon as they arrived they learnt that there was no such thing as love in the Valetorio household. There was respect sure, but her parents barely payed attention to their kids so it didn't really matter anwyay. Two years after they were born, a third child, Camilla, was born and then a year after that a fourth child, Dominico. Now, it just so happened that they were born into a very rich family, so unfortunately this meant they had a nanny. Now ignored children and nannies don't really mix that well and so after some time the nanny would leave stating them too uncontrollable. Bella, and her twin Alex, got into the most trouble as kids, with their two younger siblings close behind, but their parents would never do anything about it, they were too busy jet setting around in their personal jet and avoiding looking after their kids.
And so on this went for most of their childhood, Alex, Bella and their younger siblings making their nannies leave so their parents would give them a little bit of attention. Not that they would admit that they were trying to get their parents attention, growing up in a no love household did that to you. Over time they did get one nanny who stayed, her name was Alyss Lovette, she was a part time model but claimed to love children so she had gone into working as a nanny. At the time Alex and Bella had been fourteen, Camilla was twelve and Dominico was eleven, and at the time they had all rolled their eyes. Yeah right, she loved kids. From the moment they had seen her the Valetorio kids knew she was trouble, it was just too bad that their mother hadn't been there to put an end to it. Almost exactly from the start they started being even more rebellious, they started going to more parties, staying out all night, anything at all to make their parents notice them, but also to draw attention to what was happening with their father and Alyss.
It was the christmas holidays, the very same year that the twins turned fifteen and had begun their freshman year at high school, that they both finally learned that their father had been having an affair with Alyss. The Valetorio children already knew this, so it wasn’t as shocking as the fact that their mother had been having an affair with Calum Johnson, another well known business man who, though he wasn't as rich as Paulo, was supposedly in love with the beautiful Bianca. And so the yelling began between both Paulo and Bianca, and it all came out. The people they'd had affairs with over the years, the things they had done behind each other's backs. For two whole months they fought through lawyers and snide remarks to each other while Bella and her siblings stood in the middle. It was almost like world war three, though without the guns and tanks... Eventually it worked out that they would split everything down the middle, not literally, just all the stuff's price. So they sold everything and parted ways. It was just too bad that they married their affair partners. And both of those affair partners hated the Valetorio children. They saw them as interruptive, naughty and many times they were almost sent to boarding schools because of Alyss and Calum.
Bella and her siblings hated their parents from then, they had broken up leaving their kids in limbo, each one not sure where to go, and each one of them hurting more than ever. Eventually the parents decided that their mother would have to keep them with their father having to take them over the holidays. Of course the Valetorio kids hated this and Bella and her siblings continued to go crazy, though maybe her twin more than her and their younger siblings. And this time it wasn't because they wanted their parents attention, it was because they were sick of being treated like objects to be tossed between their parents. One of the ways they rebelled was by racing cars around the track. Though none of the Valetorio kids never competed, they were still very good drivers. One day, a morning she had planned to spend at the race track with her twin, Bella had been slapped by Alyss for supposedly talking back. Her brother had seen this and had proceeded to yell. Alyss had yelled for their father and he had sent them away telling them how horrible they were. On the verge of tears and with her cheek stinging, she had run from the house, only to find that when she stopped she felt extremely nausious and that she was a couple of kilometers outside of Rome.
For a time, she experimented with her power and grew to love it, though she only shared it with her siblings and no one else. It was a while later though that someone had turned up at the house saying her and her twin were gods, or personifications, or whatever. So Alex and Bella had gone to Pantheon while their siblings had gone to live with their favourite uncle Maximillion. The Valetorio children loved Max. He was a famous race car driver like his older brother Paulo, but he had stayed in the industry rather than getting out. Max was the one to teach the Valetorio children all they know about cars. Alex and Bella are now in their senior year, their parents think they're at boarding school and their two younger siblings are still living with their uncle Max.
CONNECTION TO THE MYTH ' '
- Nike and her siblings were willingly handed off to Zeus by their mother Styx. Nike was also handed off, though it was to a nanny.
- Nike was the personification and goddess of speed and victory, Bella has superhuman speed as a power.
- Nike had four siblings, and so does Bella.
- Nike was mostly left to her own devices by her parents and so was Bella.
- Nike’s mother was the personification of hate and Bella’s mother is a hateful woman.
- Nike and her siblings were a tight knit group, so are Bella’s.
- Bella is pretty average in height, and Nike was smaller than most gods and goddesses.
- Nike was capable of running and flying at great speeds and Bella has a thing for fast cars etc.
- Bella can be very independant but is very loyal to people. Nike, when she was pictured alone, had wings to hold herself up with and when she was pictured with another god/goddess, she was wingless (she wouldn't fly away in the presence of a friend).
- Nike's appearance is that of a fit young woman, and so is Bella's.
- Nike fought against the titans with her siblings just as Bella fights against her parents with her siblings.
- Bella is able to play a few instruments including the lyre, the piano and the guitar, as well as sing. Nike was said to carry a lyre to sing the songs of victory for her champions.
