Personality Description: Delilah is very opinionated. She’s very strong-willed and is of the firm opinion that men are shit. She’s a misandrist to the core and thinks the only reason she needs a man is to screw, get it out of her system, then kick him to the curb. She’s pretty sure that they’re just around for procreative needs. Mostly, men annoy her but, since she’s unfortunately straight, she needs them around to get her sexual needs taken care of from time to time.

The only exceptions to this misandry rule are her brothers, the biological one Benoni and the “adopted” one, Kaysar. Benoni and Kaysar she holds dearer to her than anything else and would, and has, killed to protect them. They are probably the only men in the world who will ever be close to her heart.

Delilah says whatever the hell she wants and it’s generally not pleasant. She’s sarcastic and realistic, preferring to jump right to the conversation as opposed to wading in all the bullshit. If someone doesn’t get straight to the point, she walks away to find someone who actually knows what they’re doing or saying. She’s very impatient with people and prefers action to planning, making her a volatile individual. It’s not unusual for her to randomly punch someone or kiss them, then walk away. She’s a bit manic in that manner.

Delilah knows she’s a girl and isn’t afraid to use her feminine wiles to her advantage. She has no scruples in this department and full-ready to kiss, screw or kill anyone she needs to in order to get what she wants.

Power/Ability: Umbrakinesis- Delilah can travel by shadows, traveling from one shadow to another, usually with others in tow. She can also mask herself in shadow, making herself nearly invisible. She can also blind people, making them see only black shadows.

History: Delilah’s father died shortly after she was born. Her mother married another man, who had a son, her step-brother Ben. Ben became the love of her (familial) life and all she felt it her place to protect him and he to protect her. His father, an abusive drunk named Terrence, suddenly took to beating on his new red-headed step-child in addition to his own son. Delilah’s mother died shortly after she married, leaving both children to the mercy of her husband.

When Delilah started sprouting into a woman, that’s when the problems began. A shapely girl, she immediately attracted the attention of Terrence, who started flirting with her and threatening her. He beat on Ben more and made leering remarks towards Delilah. After awhile of insinuating he was going to come to her room, he actually did.

Shrieking, Delilah tried to throw him off of her, but it didn’t work. Then, something happened. His eyes clouded up as if choked with black oil. The shadows in the room began to envelope him. He screamed, tearing at his eyes. Then Delilah saw Ben. The boy, standing in the doorway, also screamed for his father to stop. When he didn’t the boy made a ripping motion with his hands, ripping the blood from out of his father’s body. The man, blinded, whirled around to see where it came from, only to be cut into two, falling to the floor dead. The shadows in the room ceased and the blood fell to the floor.

Delilah and Ben left shortly after that, traveling from Dead Horse down to Canada, by hitching rides and killing people for their cars. They stole or killed when they needed too and had no qualms about it. Then, they met Kaysar. Kay, a boy who could poison people at will, won their respect and their attention and the three of them formed an alliance, a strange kind of family. The three bonded more deeply than even siblings could.

Then Pantheon found them, caught up with them, had their records expunged and threatened that they remain at the school or else. Delilah’s been trying to find a way out ever since.

CONNECTION TO THE MYTH ' '

Delilah’s name is similar to Lilitu’s
Lilitu was shrouded in darkness and Delilah’s ability is umbrakinesis.

Lilitu refused to be on bottom and Delilah was almost raped because she didn’t want to be.

I'll accept it, but note that if Carissa refutes it (because, like Ben, she's actually the reincarnation of a demon and not an actual goddess), I can't refute her decision. There was this whole debate on whether or not Christianity should be allowed with all their demons, angels, etc., though, since the Pantheons have been accepted, she might not mind. Just keep RPing limited for now.

BTW- Specifically (if we want to go in a non-christian/judaic direction) Lilitu was actually an Assyrian demoness before the other two religions were even a thought. AND Kat/Mac is technically a demon too from the near east.

Meh. You know what? I'll debate this out with the other mods later, but I like it. And, since the Greeks get the Gorgons, why can't the other Pantheons have demons? As long as they're not a monotheistic culture, I think they should be accepted. ;D
