STRIKE A POSE ' '
Physical Appearance: Gwyn is a dark character, like a pale raven slashing through the night. He's tall for a fifteen year old, or average height for wales at least, standing at about five foot ten, with usual length black hair, not really cut into any particular style or cliche, but just about covering his eyebrows.
He's got quite an angular face, not particularly attractive or anything, but not ugly looking. He's not conscious about his looks or anything though, as he doesn't care too much about superficial things like that, and isn't really into dating much.
His style sense leaves something to be desired. It's just normal clothes, jeans, shirt. Nothing special. He doesn't often dress formally, and indeed doesn't really own any formalwear, instead only jeans and shorts and shirts and tees.
LET'S GET TO KNOW YOU BETTER ' '
Personality Description: Gwyn isn't evil as such, but he's certainly not good. In a way, you might say he was completely neutral, cold and isolated and not really caring what happens to the other students of the pantheon. Their trivial worries mean nothing to Gwyn, for he has wider concerns, that of the whole world. They are gods, are they not? His father has long since taught him of how the gods once ruled over the world - should they not take that place back, that which is rightfully theirs, dominion over mankind? This is Gwyn's philosophy, although he does not strive too much to achieve it, if the opportunity arose he would certainly jump at it. It's not that Gwyn doesn't like some people, or that he's a bad person, he just tends to think of the whole picture and live by the words 'for the greater good'.
Gwyn doesn't make friends easily due to his quiet exterior, however he does make a few friends, those who are like him and haven't many friends. Mainly, he confides in animals, whom he can talk to far better than humans. It is not that he is shy to speak, for he can certainly speak when he wishes to, he just doesn't know how to deal with people well and can easily come across as unfriendly even when he means to be the opposite, so he doesnt think it is very useful to speak to people. He gets along with animals far better, especially creatures of the night.
He's alright in classes, but is better with more physical things, and he's quite physically fit as well. He's also good with animal biology but not so great with the other sciences. He generally enjoys classes that he is good at. While he doesn't really understand technology, having been raised without it on the whole, save for at school, he still uses it on occasion and is looking to improve with it.

Power/Ability: Gwyn's primary power is that of communicating with animals. He can speak the language of animals, although it just sounds like English to him, to those around it sounds like the noise of that animal itself. As such he can communicate with any living creature, giving them all a sort of allegiance to him. He can also call animals with a louder call, summoning them to his aid for a short time.
WELCOME TO MY LIFE ' '
Place of Origin: Gwynedd, Wales
History: Gwyn was born in the district of Gwynedd, in the north of wales. His mother disappeared some months after his birth, having run from the house in which they lived due to Gwyn's father's 'Strange Behaviour', as she described it. Gwyn's childhood - because of his mother leaving from the house - was troubled. His father, Llewelyn, was a strange man who renounced modern technology and took his two children, at the time aged four and six, to a small cottage high in the mountains where they lived without electricity. Of course, they still had contact with the outside and modern world, as Llewelyn was not quite qualified to do anything other than the art and shepherding that he was decent at, and so the children were soon forced to head down the mountain to go to school in the nearest village. He and his sister, Bethany, grew up in much this way, making their way down each day to the school and then back up to help their father with the sheep and then repeating this the next day. Their life was very monotonous, boring. Llewelyn however, despite not being allowed to home-school them, was well versed in the Myths of ancient wales, and has long since taught his two children the many legends and stories that were their heritage.
When Gwyn was fifteen, his father caught a severe case of Pneumonia, after which he was unable to work anymore with the sheep in the hills, and so Gwyn took over much of his work, herding the sheep and shearing them whenever needed. This was when Gwyn first discovered his affinity with animals and that he could communicate with them. He was able to control the sheep far better than his father had done, merely calling to them for them to run into the sheepfold and another call for them to become docile, allowing for easy shearing. Gwyn was eventually even able to sell on their sheep dog - Branwen - who was very skilled at her job and so forth fetched a large amount of money which helped pay for his fathers medicine, which he now needed dearly, despite any objection to the technology required to make it.
Gwyn was sad to see his childhood companion, the sheepdog, leave the house, as was his sister Bethany, but they knew it was a necessary measure to keep their father in good health. It was not long after that the Pantheon located Gwyn, sending him the letter (although the postman had never before visited Gwyn and Bethany's house, he somehow found his way up there) inviting Gwyn to the school where he was to inherit and learn to control the powers he had gained from the soul of Gwyn the Hunter, whom he was supposedly the reincarnated form of. Gwyn was glad that his father had taught him what he did, as it allowed him to know a lot about the deity he supposedly represented.
He spent a month or so deciding whether to go to the school. On the one hand he didn't want to leave his father, but Llewelyn told Gwyn that he should go to the school and use his power, because he was a god and he was born to do so. Gwyn understood, and set off for Washington to attend the school, slightly apprehensive about what was to come
CONNECTION TO THE MYTH ' '
- Gwyn had a pet dog - Gwyn ap Nudd was said to have his chariot driven by hounds of death.
- Gwyn fought often with his sister - Gwyn ap Nudd was said to battle with his sister each Beltane (May Day) for control of the seasons.
- It was said that where Gwyn the Hunter was heard, death was sure to follow - many of Gwyns family members died, although this was just a coincidence perhaps.
- Gwyn was a God of the free hunt, and as such Gwyn now possesses a certain affinity with animals and nature.
