Physical Appearance: Desiree has the typical Colombian dancer’s body. She is extremely curvy, though not fat from years of dancing. Her hips and rear are perfectly form and she has the sleek dancer’s legs most women envy. Her skin the color of Sunkist wheat and relatively without blemish, though breakouts do happen. She has a relatively average breast size, but she tries to play it up with somewhat voluptuous tops. Desiree’s face is fairly exotic. She feline eyes the color of burnt almonds, with tasteful make up to make her eyes pop. History: Desiree was the bastard child of Jasper Freedmont and his pupil at law-school, the beautiful Colombian and Lebanese Caroline Musa-Malinali. The two had a brief fling while he was studying in law-school, but, the moment he could she was pregnant, hightailed it out of there, citing a wife. A few months later, Desiree’s mother heard her ex-lover had another child, a girl, but he left her too, pregnant. That was the last they heard for many years.
Since her mother was keen on cleaning up her home country and continuing her education, Desiree was constantly shifted back and forth between Colombia and the US, always moving around. Luckily, her mother, the daughter of a Colombian official in the government, was able to pay for sure excursions, though he frowned upon his daughter’s choice in lifestyle and her having a baby and nearly wrecking a bring future.
When Desiree hid puberty, her body seemed to go from a young girl’s to a woman’s in no time flat. Her hips sprouted out and his breasts skipped the awkward teenage phase and immediately go to a twenty- year old’s. However, that wasn’t the only thing that kicked in. She found that she could psychically gage people’s desire and lust levels, manipulating them to her advantage. She could make men fall in love with her and desire her, in addition to having them fall in love with other people. She found that she could inspire others to write love poems and other lyric poetry, for most lyric poetry had a degree of love in it. She also acquired a love of dance and became almost annoyingly skilled at it, as it helped her ability.
When Desiree was about fifteen, Jasper showed up at their home in the city. She didn’t know whether it was guilt or whether her father was going through some sort of midlife crisis, but he tracked the small family down to see his technically oldest daughter. Desiree, who barely knew the man, spoke little to him. Her mother was equally icy. Jasper, sensing that he was unwanted for abandoning his mistress and his bastard daughter, said that Desiree had a half sisters. Jasper gave Carolina the address and, like that, Desiree never saw her father again.
They were surprised to find out that the family lived relatively close by. Carolina decided to take her daughter to meet her half sister, though she was nervous as to how they would be received. They were pleasantly surprised to see that Tanya was very warm and welcoming, knowing full well had horrible her ex could be and welcomed Desiree with open arms. She immediately introduced her to Cammie, saying the two girls were her half sisters. Desiree, unfortunately, looked too much like her mother to have any real resemblance to Cammie, but the birth certificate and a few blood tests proved that she was indeed their half-sister.
After that, Desiree began visiting more often. She found that her sisters also had abilities. Her sister Cammie was telepathic and could read people’s thoughts. Desiree confessed that she was able to manipulate people’s desires, making them fall in love or in lust, occasionally with a creative streak. She also shared her sister’s creative talents for dance and song, in addition to poetry. After that, Desiree was practically inseparable from her sister.
When Pantheon came to call, they called Cammie first. Desiree was last joining her sister. She wasn’t quite surprised to find out that they were two of the nine muses, with Cammie being Thalia and Desiree being Erato.
