Psychic abilities refers to extra sensory perception, the ability to feel, know and perceive things others cannot. Psychic powers also covers spiritual abilities such as being able to communicate with the dead, project oneself unto another plane of existence or location and take possession of another's body.
Astral ProjectionAstral projection is the ability to consciously control an out-of-body experience through meditation, lucid dreaming, or other means. The process involves projecting the spirit outside the physical body to travel in the physical or spiritual world.
Ballistic TelekinesisBallistic Telekinesis, colloquially known as Telekinetic Havoc or Havoc is the more untamed version of Telekinesis. This ability causes any nearby objects to be moved around the user at high speeds, explode or to be propelled away from the user at high speeds without conscious effort from the user of the power. It is usually triggered by anger or some other strong emotion and is very uncontrollable.
DeflectionThe ability to physically or psychically dismiss and deflect whatever physical power is thrown directly toward the user. One with this ability usually makes no conscious effort to use this ability, as it is activated by a feeling of impending danger, which quickly causes projectiles or incoming impact to simply bounce off of the thin psychic aura generated by the user. Eventually, however, one with this ability could even consciously knock away impending dangers with phenomenal force.
Desire ManipulationAbility to manipulate someone's desire. Although not blatantly powerful, this ability has a variety of uses. It can function as a form of mind control, by making the subject's utmost desire to do what you want him to do. It can also fixate a person on another person, or a certain ideal. It doesn't just deal with lust, but the concept of desire in its entirety.
Dream ManipulationIndividuals with the ability to manipulate dreams can control, alter or induce dreams in others. They may be able to enter a person's dreams or cause them to remain in a dream state against their will.
Emotion ManipulationThe ability to manipulate another's emotions making the subject feel whatever the user wants. This can include hate, irritation, fear and other things. Though usually the user of their power needs the emotion to be harnessed such as with animals who don't necessarily feel pride but can feel fear. Some individuals are able to sense, enhance, and overwhelm an individual with their own fears.
EmpathyWhat separates this from Emotion Manipulation is that an empath will be able to share in the emotions of the subject rather than just be aware of them like the emotional manipulator. An empath can even go so far, as finding out the reason behind the emotion making it function as a sort of telepathy for emotions rather than thought. To a certain degree empaths can work reversely, by making others feel what they're feeling.
ExcruciationAbility to psychically induce or increase feelings of pain in foes throught either contact or mentally. One with this ability need only to visualize a foe mentally and within seconds, then the foe will be consumed with pain of a magnitude chosen by the user. This magnitude may range from simply feeling like a slight twinge to a full-out twisting of the nerves, causing such pain that the subject is in temporary shock, and any other pain in-between.
Hive-MindThis is the connection of one's thought patterns to the thought patterns of another, usually a small group. It’s sort of like Empathy and Telepathy combined, but it’s only within a select group, such as twins, triplets, families, etc. and cannot be extended beyond the group. They can't be empathic or telepathic with anyone outside said group. One with this ability shares the same emotions, thoughts, memories and abilities as the rest of the hive mind. Often, this group-mind is in constant communication and capable of thinking independently only when separated far enough from the other members, though the distance depends on the hive mind’s abilities. Another perk is that, due to the combined power of the hive, it's difficult for other telepaths to break through, though not impossible. Others have the option of detaching themselves, or shutting off the group consciousness voluntarily.
HypnosisThis ability allows a person to have a charming or glamoring effect on another person, making them easily susceptible to control and impairing their judgment. It also loosens the tongue and pretty much makes the subject's psyche clay in the hands of the user of the power. This power usually needs to be channeled via some process, such as a song or the playing of an instrument.
IllusionAbility to alter or deceive the perceptions of another. Can be sensory, a light or sound-based effect, or an alteration of mental perceptions. This also does not limit itself to the sensation of sight, one with this ability may affect all five senses assuming their power is potent enough, after all the mind believes what it wants to believe.
Memory ManipulationAbility to erase or enhance the memories of another. A person with this ability, can also plant fake memories in their subjects. People with this ability can also pull out memories in a manner like a postcognative telepathy...one can't read thoughts but rather read memories.
Memory ProjectionThe ability to sense or absorb the memories of others. One could then form a psionic link with another consciousness and visually project those memories as solid holograms in a manner somewhat similar. May also be able to maintain another’s memories.
Mind ControlMind control is a form of telepathy that allows a person to alter another's perceptions and force them to actions they would not commit themselves. Mind control can also be expressed as the ability to erase memories or induce false memories and also to leave suggestions preventing a person from action.
Penance StareWhen in close combat, the individual locks eyes with their victim and makes him or her feel every pain that that individual has ever inflicted on anyone else innocent in their lifetime. While it doesn’t kill the person, it’s a traumatic experience and has varying psychological effects from person to person.
PersuasionA person with this ability can make a suggestion, and have whoever they're directing their ability to follow that said suggestion. It is similar to mind control, but it doesn't directly have to do with overpowering a person's will. A person can say Go to sleep and expect their subject to do so. Also the effects of persuasion are subject to the interpretation of the subject, so if the user says Break a leg, the subject can understand that as literally breaking a leg or, doing a good job in something. A person must also be able to physically do the command, and cannot be persuaded to do things such as holding their breath to kill themselves or running faster than the speed of light.
PossessionPossession is the ability to psychically take over the body and/or mind of a living entity, or the structure of an object, by force. The main aspect of the ability allows the possessor's body to phase into and possess another body. This may or may not allow the possessor to take hold of the possessed's mind. If the possession is limited to the body, the possessor may only move the possessed's body but the latter will be aware that his motions are against his will. If the possession is limited to the mental aspect, the possessor may only access the possessed's mental faculties but may not move his body. If the possession includes both body and mental domination, the possessed will be under the possessor's bidding completely. Some possessors can also enter inanimate objects. Possession differs from Astral Projection in the sense that it does not leave the unconscious body of the possessor behind.
Sleep Induction:Ability to induce a sense of lethargy to a person or any living thing that requires sleep. The strength of this ability can vary from leaving a person tired, to putting them in a never ending sleep.
TechnopathyTechnopaths are individuals able to connect to technology with their minds, give them commands or alter their purpose. Technopaths are also able to commune with machines just as if they were people, and apart from that they can coerce machines into building themselves.
TelepathyTelepathy may be better known as mind reading. Individuals with this talent can hear and/or see the thoughts of others. Telepathy may also include the ability to project one's thoughts for the purpose of communication without speech. There are also other aspects of it, like telepathic persuasion or the crafting of illusions
TelekinesisThe ability to move things with ones mind. A person with this ability should be able to lift heavy objects and hurl them, or to stop already moving object by catching them with a telekinetic force. They can also use their powers in extremely dexterous ways such as typing of a keyboard or individual grains of sand. It is the milder form of havoc, and what it lacks in strength it more than makes up for in sheer control.
