Physical Appearance: The first thing that people think when they see Ms. Lennox is “EYES!” She has incredibly blue eyes, the color of freshwater or a clear sky. Offset with her dark auburn hair, it makes her eyes pop even more, giving her a sort of otherworldly-fae-motif. Her hair is usually pulled back in order to maximize effectiveness when grading, teaching, etc., but her eyes still manage to captivate whoever sees her. They tend to be a useful tool when trying to get an answer out of a student or a see if a student is lying. A closely guarded secret of hers is that her natural hair color is actually red and curly, not a deep auburn and straight.
Her primarily Scottish and Irish heritage gives her a fair complexion, allowing her to burn easily in the sun. She has a splattering of freckles across her nose and cheeks, as well as along her shoulders and arms. Usually, she utilized cover up fairly well that one can’t tell, but they’re there nonetheless. Sylvia is fairly tall at 5’8” which, again, comes in handy when she needs an answer or to search for a lie in a student. She’s not a skinny girl, having curves and meat in all the right places. She’s not fat, as she works out regularly to keep her mind sharp, but she’s not an anorexic supermodel either.
She tends to dress professionally when teaching and fashionably when she’s ‘off-duty.’ She always has a mythology book of some sort in her hands and wears make-up except when it’s her day off and she needs a day in. She’ll occasionally wear glasses for recreational reading, but that’s all.

Personality Description: Kind- Sylvia is a kind woman. She rarely has a harsh word for anyway and prefers to fight with her wits instead of harsh words or physical acts of violence. She’s usually sympathetic to a student’s plight (whatever that may be). She’s not a pushover though. If she senses she’s being taken advantage of, she’ll ‘fight’ back in her own way. In general though, she’s very patient with her students, rarely raising her voice. Honestly, she’s so nice, no one would really want to throw a fit with her. Her whole theory is “kill ‘em with kindness.” Sylvia was raised to be polite and kind. She expects it in return since that’s what she’ll dish out. She doesn’t do well with rude people but manages to finagle her way into getting what she wants (her parents used to say it was the gift of Blarney). She very gentle and students rarely have trouble going to her when they have a problem, should they not feel safe going to any other teacher or counselor. Of course, by law, she’s required to report anything that includes sexual abuse, physical abuse, harm to themselves or others, etc.
Obsessive- A day you don’t see Sylvia with some sort of book in her hand is probably the day when hell freezes over. Sylvia loves reading and reads, in particular, comparative literature about mythology, fables, analyzing them, etc. She’s well versed on all myths and tends to know most students, mythology-wise, better than they know themselves. When someone gets her started on some mythological topic, she’ll talk for hours so one better pack a lunch and make themselves comfortable because she’ll be at it for awhile. When she’s reading one of her many books, it’s a bad idea to come near her, until she’s done (unless she’s teaching of course then you damn well better have your text book open and ready to answer some questions). She’ll talk for hours about the subject as she loves it and lives it and, because of her passion, has published a number of papers on the subject and has becoming the leading authority on most mythologies, hence her being hired at Pantheon. However, it tends to take up all her time, leading the students to wonder whether or not she actually has a life beyond Pantheon Academy and her mythology books.
Opinionated- That said, she’s very opinionated on the subject. One better have the data to back up their theories concerning mythology. Generally, the Historian does, but he doesn’t really count. As the leading source in the country, probably the world, on mythology, she knows her stuff and is not scared to voice her opinion. However, it’s not limited to myth. She’s opinionated on a lot of matters and loves a good debate on various subjects (obviously, ones she familiar with… she’ll be fairly silent on the subject of astrophysics, for example).
