Cadence is an English name. It is derived from two Latin words, cadens “to fall” and hence “the flow of rhythm”.
Natellia is what the first Terpsichore used as her given name. It is a mix between Natasea Hindi for dance lord and Catellia which means beautiful in Greek. Together it means beautiful dancer.
Ballerino is Italian for dancer.

Physical Appearance:
Cadence has always thought that she was beautiful. Although not in the selfish way that you might think. She has never found beauty through facial features , but rather through the body. Through the movement of toned legs and a strong center. Cade's body has always flowed in the right way. Her many dance lessons and extra workouts resulted in a long and lean body. One that many people would find beautiful. She stands at 5ft 9 in which is a bit tall for a female dancer but it makes her different from many other dancers out there.
Even though she has never found her beauty in her facial features, doesn't mean that they aren't there. Her face is bold with striking blue eyes and a warm skin tone. Her lips are large and plump with a pale rose tone to them. The shape of her face is round with some sharp edges such as her high, eccentric cheekbones. Cade's long sandy blonde mane flows down her back during the summer and in the winter she opts for a more preppy style, leaving it just below her collar bone.
Cade loves to wear things that are, unusual. She loves to dress in different time periods. She'll use 80's legwarmers in dance class and a poodle skirt with a ruffled blouse. A secondary love to Cade is fashion. If she had not been the goddess of dance the surely she would have been the goddess of fashion, if there was such a thing.

Cadence has a very theatrical personality. Her life in the theatre has brought along many dramatic traits. She will liven up everything with a spring of enthusiasm. The dramatic world is the one that she is used to so, when she goes out into the real world she is sometimes looked at as an outsider because of her unusual ways. You will catch her humming very often and it's usually humming show tunes. When she was younger she used to tap her feet under her desk. This made the teachers very mad, but she wouldn't care because tapping meant more to her than her teachers.

History:
There is a story of a young couple. The husband was the popular jock in high school who fell for the nerdy girl. It's a typical sickening love story with plenty of tears. Right now I would like to talk instead about their daughter. The girl who revolutionized the world of dance. From the early age of 3 she was put into dance classes at her local studio in Melbourne, Australia. Even after her classes were over she would sit, watch and memorize the routines of the older students. Her parents could see her love of dance and since she was they're only child, they were able to spoil her with any and every opportunity she wanted.
Things with the perfect couple and the adorable little girl were, well perfect. Although, some would say that it was too perfect. Skye and Titania, the parents, hid from the world they're deep and dark problems. The truth was that Skye had been cheating on Titania and recently got another girl pregnant. Titania had fallen into an alcoholic state of being and was no longer caring for Cadence, the little girl. Both of the parents were falling apart and there was nothing that anyone could do about it because no one can meddle with fate. Cadence, on the other hand wasn't noticing any of the trouble and continued to live what she thought was a perfectly happy life.
In early June of Cadence's 13th year she had begun to notice her parents. She was finally seeing through the wall that they'd put up. By now, her father had already gotten three different women pregnant with 5 different children. Her mother was having liver failures, yet was neglecting to tell anyone about it. Although, none of that mattered for Cadence was going to have her life turned upside down. A dance competition had come into her town and obviously she had entered. At the competition there were talent scouts and one in particular had noticed her. His name was Hera Queen and he was a very famous agent in the world of dance. Since Cadence knew that she no longer had the “sanity” of her parents to guide her she took matters into her own hands and signed on with the agency.
Her career immediately skyrocketed and she was preforming in such prestigious places like the Met and Broadway. For three years she was taken around the world preforming in places with the rich and fabulous. Her life was one big ball of glamour and everyone could see that she had it made. What they didn't see was the behind-the-curtain action. Her father and Hera Queen had grown very fond of each other and were sleeping with each other. In a result to this her mother started to do drugs to ease the pain of his 3 hidden relationships. It first started with marijuana, then it moved onto bigger things such as cocaine and meth. Cadence was feeling the pressure of being the first 15 year old prima ballerina who was constantly in the spotlight. Her perfect world was crumbling down on her so badly that she was trapped with no way out. Cadence had no friends or parental figures to turn to. She loved dance but she hated the spotlight. It was causing damage to her physical and mental health. In her mind she figured that if she couldn't be happy while dancing then she shouldn't dance at all. Since dance was her life...she had decided that it should end. In October of her 15th year she decided that she couldn't handle her life and so she attempted suicide. Luckily she was saved by one of her stylists and they quickly rushed her to the hospital. The papers reported that it was because of heart problems but the doctors knew it was because of household drugs. This made Cadence even more destructive because she knew that her pressures would still have to continue.
One night after a show at the Gershwin Theatre with the Jeoffry Ballet she had decided that enough was enough. Her bags had been packed for days with no real intention of leaving. Yet, when she saw her mother passed out on the couch with a needle in her arm and her father's coat and wallet gone she knew that she couldn't continue to live this life. All she wanted when she was a little girl was to be famous and all she wanted now was to be normal. She grabbed her bags and left. There was no thought as to where she was going but she knew that it had to be far away from Skye, Titania and Hera. It had to be far away from the blinding lights of the paparazzi. It had to be somewhere secluded and quiet. Cadence had bought a ticket to Washington. Specifically the Olympic Peninsula because she knew that in the forest no one would find her.
Even though her family life had exposed her to many things it did not exclude that fact that she was still naive. She had no clue that people would be looking for her and she had no clue that people were currently watching her every move. The professors and scouts at Pantheon Academy had been following her since the age 13. They noticed her movements were beyond human and her ability to memorize things was unnatural. They're theory was that she was the reincarnation of a Greek Goddess. To be specific, Terpsichore the muse of dance. From watching her career blosom from her early age they could tell that because of her incredible and unnatural movements, that she had the power of Superhuman Agility. Cadence had no idea that these people had been following her for all these years and she definitely had no idea that her destiny was to be much more than a prima ballerina.
Once Cadence reached the Olympic Peninsula she bought all the supplies that she would need to camp out for a week. Right now her plans were short term, but once she had time to relax and calm down then she'd be able to think clearly. She'd settled upon a small opening in a forest close to the mountains.
While Cade was enjoying her solidarity, her parents and agent were in a panic. The amazing dance prodigy was missing and no one had a clue where she might be found. Reports were constantly being televised and her fans were going crazy with grief.
Cadence had been camping in the forest for a week when she'd had the meltdown. Her everything had started to crash and she'd lost control. In her mind she thought why do these people get to control everything? In the grand scheme of things they don't matter. They should be punished. She had decided to go back to New York and find her parents. She layed out a plan of what she was going to do and when she was going to do it. It was well thought out and very organized with no room for error. Pantheon had been keeping a close watch on her since she ran away and they were able to see her plan. It scared them because Cadence had the ability to get in, decapitate a person and get out before anyone even knew what was going on. This was obviously an extreme case that would come with training, but it could still happen and so they decided to pay Cadence a visit.
It ended up being a rather messy fight when Cadence saw two big men in black suits walking towards her. In the end she went with them, after a great deal of explanation and a sedative.
Now she is studying at Pantheon and is currently in her junior year. After all the pressures of her family, the media and other peer pressures were eliminated Cadence was free to finally be happy. She went to Pantheon as a way to get a new life .We don't know what else will be in store for her, but all we can hope for is that it will be good...and full of drama.
CONNECTION TO THE MYTH ' '
There isn't much about Terpsichore so I covered the basics and experimented with the rest.
*Terpsichore was the goddess of dance and Cadence's passion is to dance.
*Zeus was Terpsichore's father and he slept around with tonnes of other goddesses. Skye was Cade's father and he slept around with other women.
*Zeus destroyed Mnemosyne with his cheating and Skye did the same to Titania.
*The name is another connection.
*Her stubborness is a typical trait that the Greek gods had.
