Physical Appearance:
Bia was adopted into the family, that much is obvious. Where her siblings are dark-haired, and brown-eyed, she has light hair, and almost clear eyes. The contrast is startling, every aspect of her is opposite of her family. Bianca emits an almost ethereal feel, with her waist-length curly, white-blonde hair. Despite having lived in Florida all of her life, she is as pale a moonlight, as her skin never seems to tan. Her facial features are very delicate, and elegant looking, drawing in her onlookers. She often wears her hair in a low ponytail, but occasionally, she’ll wear it down, and when she does, it frames her heart-shaped face. Her speaking voice is high, but not whiny, it’s soft, and soothing. When she sings, a high, clear soprano rings like bells, which draws people in like the famed Sirens did in The Odyssey.
The only dark feature on her body is her eyelashes. Thick and black, they frame her large, clear blue eyes. The color of her eyes is like melting water – only in shades of blues, not gray. They’re bright, but not watery, and seem to fall into the recurring theme of paleness. Pale mauve lips hide straight white teeth. Bianca stands at a petite five feet, four inches, short compared to her siblings. She’s very slim, weighing only about 100 pounds. Being only fifteen, she hasn’t yet finished ‘developing’. Her bust is still small, and she retains a girlish quality about her. Although she’s short, Bianca is all leg, adding to the innocence factor. It makes it almost impossible to guess what kind of warrior lies beneath.
LET'S GET TO KNOW YOU BETTER ' '
Personality Description:
Bia is a rather…interesting person. She loves to create – music, art, stories, you name it, she’ll make it. After years of practicing the creative, visual and performing arts, she’s gotten to be pretty good at it too-it’s not like she’s a wannabe artist. Bia isn’t arrogant about it either, in fact, she hates it when people listen in on her playing, or read her stories. She’s very modest that way. Bia loves to manipulate people – a trait that is stronger when she sings. Of course, this is amplified by her power, Mind Control, which doesn’t always work.
Bia loves to swimming, it’s her lifestyle, and wants to make it to USS Nationals, and eventually, the Olympics. She a very active girl, running, surfing, swimming, biking. Like all of the Andraste children, she hates being lazy, and unhealthy. She strives for a healthy lifestyle – always eating what she needs, not what she wants. Bianca also knows how to make a witty remark, or trick someone into doing what she wants – without using her power. That’s how cunning she can be. School can be somewhat of a bore to her, since it comes so easily to her. She’s always been an extremely intelligent child. Bianca hates it was people lose their cool, and when they do, she always commands them to calm down. Bia is a very controlling person who doesn’t like to be denied anything.
She tends to be rather quiet despite it all, careful with her words, always making sure to say the right thing. Though, of course, usually saying the right thing is saying the nice thing. After all, it never hurt to be nice, especially when being on one's good side could possibly come in handy in the future. She usually stays quiet around others when she doesn't know them well. Not really out of being shy, but because being quiet and small allow her to sometimes go unnoticed, sort of hiding in plain sight. And this can prove as a way to see what kinds of people others are, which, of course, could be useful information for possible manipulation in the future. Simply because she prefers so, Bia is either the sibling you don't notice due to the eartheral, peaceful quiet that seems to surround her while the twins are so loud, or the one you do notice for being so unlike the others in appearance and how she acts. However, just because she's the quiet and refined artistic type doesn't mean she isn't agile and athletic enough to keep up with her siblings.
All in all, Bia likes being outside when it comes down to hobbies. Whether it's being artistic in the outdoors or running about and climbing things. Though night is also well appreciated. Night and cold... though nighttime is liked for it's silence, which proves to the quality time to work on the more silent sides of art and cold for it's lack of spiders.
Wait.. I missed something. There's something a tiny bit off about Bia. Things don't bother her like they bother most. She just.... lacks reaction unless she knows how to act in a situation, which she has learned from her observing over the years. When she sees a gruesomely mangled dead body, crawling with vermin and fairly rotted, she doesn't bat an eyelash, isn't bothered at all, doesn't really think much of it. Because force, power, might, compulsion, it doesn't have a point where it will break down and freak out. Bia was the one of her siblings to have no qualms with being the one to ready Prometheus for his punishment, though in some stories, they say her brother Kratos held the god down while Bia nailed him in place. The new incarnated Bia still has no qualms with doing such a thing if she ever needed to or had to. It would never bother her, she would never give it a second thought. Who knows who she inherited her Sociopathic side, her true mother, the prostitute, or her even more unknown father. But such things as many mental disorders are genetic.

Bia was said to be the spirit of might, force, power and compulsion. Bianca can manipulate what a person does, mostly by singing. In a way, she’s very siren-like in the way she can control a person’s mind by clouding it with her voice, so it's only her voice in their mind and they do as she wishes them to. She can’t control all aspects of a person’s mind, just compel them to do what she wants. Her power doesn’t always work, though. Sometimes it backfires, and they’ll freak out. This usually happens when the person has a strong mind or will, one to strong for Bia to cloud.
WELCOME TO MY LIFE ' '
Place of Origin: St. Petersburg, Florida, USA
Birthplace - unknown
History:
In a faraway corner of the globe, a little girl who was paler than moonlight was born. Her birth parents never saw her again, after the nurse took the babe away, but then, her father never knew of her existence and her mother, as a prostitute, couldn't care less. The girl spent her first four years in an orphanage, off of the coast of Ireland. They pronounced her name in a way that seemed almost familiar to her, it seemed to.. correct. They pronounced teh first letter of her name, the B, as if it were a V. Vienca (vai-enn-ka) instead of Bianca (bee-ann-ka.) The first sound, the Vie, it sounded so... Bia didn't know and tried to put it into the back of her mind always.
Back to her life at the orphanage: It was in her last year there when she found her power beginning to manifest. At first she convinced the other children to play the games that she wanted, but eventually it led to more. Stealing food, pulling pranks, and yet, when the children were caught, none ever recalled being told by Bianca to do it. It amazed the little girl, having the ability to sway people’s mind in one direction. When she was four, the Andraste family was taking a vacation to Ireland – they were traveling the world. At the time, they only had three children, the twins, Victoria and Aaron, who were six, and Z, who was four. They were passing by the old orphanage, and noticed a pale little girl, in fact, Victoria even asked if the little girl was made of moonlight.
The Andraste parents immediately fell in love with the charismatic little girl. She charmed everyone with how prettily she spoke, and how sweet she appeared to be. Before Bianca knew it, she was on a plane to St. Petersburg, Florida, United States of America. She was happy there, practicing her abilities in secret, having three playmates, one her age, the others two years older. Quite often, she would come home from school with notes from her teachers about what a darling little girl she was, or how talented and gifted she was, whether it was art, music or singing. She didn’t always charm everyone though, one some people, her power was not yet strong enough at eight years to work on everyone the same way. Some people were completely unaware of what she was doing, others couldn’t be controlled. This taught her to quiet down and watch, to be a little more careful at school. After all, she hadn't wanted to get caught with her special little talent. Bia was rather happy with being the only one with it, with none knowing about it, it made her feel so special and important. As a former orphan, that meant just about everything to Bia. Being important and special was the greatest thing in the world.
Her singing, her art, that was where Bia truly excelled, better at then any of her siblings. Of course, there were others in the school better than she, but those people never did compete against Bia... with a little... persuasion of course. Nothing she could ever get caught for. She was too smart to get caught, too clever, just too... too Bia to get caught! A part of her wondered if her new brothers and sister knew of this, the secret, manipulative, cunning part of her. The part her that got what she wanted and made sure she got it. But did anyone ever notice? Bia was careful after all, made it seem as if she was just being her cute, quite and innocent self. All soft, sweet smile and innocent slight blush tinting the slightest pink across her pale, pale face. No... no she doubted anyone at all noticed. She was too cautious to be caught.
When Victoria and Etan started working for their uncle, Bia quietly followed along behind them. Though she was rather young, she had convinced everyone that she was capable of working with her older brother and sister too. She had been at an orphanage after all, it was a common thing for orphans to mature faster than most children, hardened by rejection after rejection. Of one after another, families deciding them to not be good enough for them, not what their were looking for. Bia herself had watched it happen to child after child, even to herself. It had hardened her enough emotionally, though outwardly she portrayed an image so innocent and severed from life's harsh realities. But that was the first time Bia dropped her act infront of her family and let them see the hardened girl with no restraints, capable of simply getting the job done with no emotional attachment to it. Because that was a skill the others didn't have, to be able to emotionally sever herself from absolutely everything and think entirely logically.
And, once again, Bia got what she wanted. And what she wanted, was to prove she was not some little girl, that she was capable of anything thrown at her.
Working for their uncle was... Well, no more interesting than school was, but Bia could deal in silence. She always did, after all.
And then, one day, after the working day was over for the trio, Victoria was nowhere to be found. The eldest of them had vanished. Bia wondered what had happened, but shrugged it off as none of her business. Victoria was a big girl after all, eldest of the four of them. Bia simply assumed her elder sister had ducked out early to go see a friend or something or other. Bia didn't really know her big sister's friends after all, Victoria was popular and Bia preferred not to be. She liked going unnoticed in the background so much better and didn't want fake people talking to her and distracting her to just try and get closer with her big brother and sister. Victoria liked to run off, she had simply run off again. She would be back, Etan's worrying wasn't really necessary. But then, she never did tell him so, she just stayed quiet, watching her brother flip out, only ever speaking when her elder brother asked her a question directly. And when she did so, she made sure to keep her answers vague, so he could figure things out himself and make his own decision. She stayed in the same room as him while he paced around ranting everything out from his worried mind. Bia was a little curious to see what he decided in the end. When Etan finally stopped and simply told Bia to stay put before dashing out of the room, there was no doubt in her mind that he was out to find their sister, but what tactic did he have? Checking the video cameras? Bia shrugged it off as unimportant seeing as how she would find out later. When Etan returned with Victoria. Until that happened, Bia would sit on her own, on the deck with her sketchbook and a small light on, to sketch the sky as she watched the youngest of them through the corner of her eye while awaiting the elder two.
Well, Bia wasn't wrong, their elder brother returned with their elder sister, and everyone was happy, though that did not mean things hadn't changed. Bia couldn't put her finger on it, but something had changed in both her elder siblings. Were they harder than they once were? Considering that was the only sort of change Bia knew people could change, it was all she could assume. However, in Bia's eyes, it was just another form of growing up and she again assumed the duo would be fine. However, she made sure to pay a little more attention to the two, just encase she was wrong. It had never happened before, but then again, there was a first time for everything.
And then the twins proved to be special children too, much like Bia knew she herself was. This was surprising, seeing as how she thought she had been the only one for so long, and the eldest two were taken away. Where to? Bia didn't know and wasn't sure if she wanted to. Though the people who had taken two of the four away, they looked at both Z and Bia herself oddly, enough for Bia to be suspicious and more careful when she used her special talent. She didn't want to leave Z alone after all. She knew what it was like to be on your own and it wasn't a fun feeling, so she tried her best to spare the youngest of them from it. More than once, Bia spotted the men in suits lurking around the places she frequented. Her school, her home, her uncle's work where Bia was the last of them to stay working since Z was a little less than a few months from taking up the job the rest of his siblings had. Bia had even struck up a conversation with one of the suits when close enough to where she stood or sat, though always making sure never to speak to them when others were around. Worrying people wouldn't be a good idea after all. Often, the question would be a simple "what are you doing?" or "why are you stalking me?" though she was fairly sure she knew why: they were waiting for her to slip and accidentily reveal her little skill to them. But no, Bia would be sure not to until and if Z showed his own and was caught for it. Only then would she allow herself to slip.
However, soon enough, Z, too, showed his skill and when they came to take him, Bia decided it was time for her to drop her act and show what she had been doing for so long. So she showed off and asked them if that was what they had been waiting for her to do. Of course it had, and Z wasn't leaving alone. That was all she had wanted to do, not abandon her brother. She would miss her adoptive parents, but being perfectly honest, Bia was rather curious. Curious as to what had happened to her elder two siblings and where they had gone. She had no doubt in her mind that they were fine, she knew them too well not to be sure of it.
So now Bia too is at Patheon Academy and wondering when she'll run into her big brother and sister. Of course, however, on her first day there, she just had to come face to face with the teeniest little spider. Oh, spiders, the only thing that could rip her from her calm and peace and have her running like the wind, screaming at the top of her lungs until someone delt with the bug she wouldn't tough with a 20 foot pole.
CONNECTION TO THE MYTH ' '
-Bia had three siblings, Nike, Kratos and Zelus, so does modern-day Bia
-Bia had wings, modern-day Bia has a very realistic birthmark shaped like wings
-Bia’s title was strong-force, modern-day Bia can control minds
-Bia was one of the winged guardians of Zeus, modern-day Bia worked at her uncle’s huge company as a guard, for the more sensitive areas.
-Their names, Bia and Bianca (nickname Bia)
- In Greek Mythology, Bia was the only one of her siblings to nail Prometheus in place as per order by Zeus, as punishment for stealing fire from the gods and giving it to man. If looked at properly, Bia is the same. Things don't exactly phase her as they should and she isn't bothered by doing whatever needs doing, no matter how horrible it may seem to some. Though it's a trait none ever see about Bia, she's a sociopath, just in such a way that to call her one without knowing the full inner workings in her mind would make one seem entirely false.
ROLEPLAYING SAMPLE ' '
Well, wasn't this a shocker? Miko was in class. The class hadn't even started yet, and despite it all, there Miko was, sitting at a desk. Given that she wasn't entirely in uniform, it wasn't as shocking of a sight as it could have been, but still, there was no tests or quizzes today and no assignments were due, and she was still in class before anybody else. To most, it would have looked like Miko was actually shaping up and starting to be one of the upstanding students to match her grades.
Of course, that thinking would be what Miko liked to call: completely wrong and not even close!
Okay, truth time. Miko's dude friends may have been about to do something entirely stupid, so stupid that even Miko thought it was a bad idea. But they wouldn't listen to the one with the higher grade point adverage than any of them, so Miko bailed and for once, made sure Ryuu left before he could get into trouble with the rest of them.
After they split up, well... Miko didn't exactly know where Ryuu went, but she knew that people knew the group she hung with, so she had to make sure she didn't get into trouble with the rest of them simply by association. How did she plan on doing that? Easy.
Be in class the whole time.
She had been kinda in uniform anyways, albeit, she didn't have the top half of her uniform on and wore a black tee-shirt with red print written in bold that read in english "TEAM SHUT UP!" and then instead of the proper shoes, she had black ankle combat boots on her feet with her socks pushed down around the tops of them, but she had her uniform top in her school bag sitting beside her chair, could roll up her socks before the bell went, and the teachers usually never spotted her shoes from her spot in the far back corner of the class, so all was fine.
At the moment, Miko was leaning back in her chair with her feet propped up on her desk and arms crossed over her chest. Her head fell back as far as it would as she let out an exasperated groan. Sooooooo boring. Stupid waiting. Miko got bored all too easily and her attention span wasn't very long. Sure, it was early, but Miko wasn't tired either and wasn't as small as Kaji so she couldn't race around the legs of the chairs and desks in the classroom in order to deal with the boredom.
Urgh, balls. This was bullshit. If she wasn't so set on not getting busted for her friends being bigger idiots than she was, she'd get up and leave the class right then and there. But no. She couldn't and wouldn't risk it. It was rare for Miko to not go along with her friend's ideas, which said just how bad the idea was. She refused to be involved and risk it. She just... wouldn't. It was that bad. Of course, Miko was hoping for their sakes that those morons she hung out with wouldn't get caught, and there was a fair chance they wouldn't. Miko liked risks usually, but not this time. This one was by far, the worst idea any of those boys had ever come up with put together in the history of their being. Okay, so maybe that was exaggerating, but still!
With an exasperated sigh, Miko lifted her head to watch Kaji dash around in attempts to take her mind off her stupid friends that might possibly get kicked out. She needed to stop letting things get to her, worrying wasn't her style, after all. Watching her guardian dash around brought an amused grin to her face, proving to be entertaining in the dull situation. When did the bell go off for class anyways? She couldn't be all that early... could she? Okay, so there was an extreme possibility...
If only she had a roommate who she actually got along with... and that the school faculty would believe without a second thought. But no, Miko just wasn't that lucky. If she didn't wanna get busted with the other boys, she'd have to stay put, no matter how boring.
Damnit... Right now, Miko was reeeeeeally wishing she had a backup plan. Something she had thought of instead of waiting in class waaaayyyyyy too freaking early. But no. She hadn't. Stupid... Where was her brain?! On vacation?! She could do sooooo much better than this! As she started to repeatedly tap the heel of her right boot against the desk her legs were propped up on, Miko turned her head up to the ceiling, closed her eyes, and thought. She was a smart girl, a clever girl, she could do this. She could think up a better idea than sitting around in her desk all day to avoid a possible expulsion. She just had to think.
Think...
Think. Think. Think.
Think think think thinkity think...
Okay, she had nothing.
Kuuuuusssssssooooooooo!
This wasn't fair, this wasn't fair at all. With a defeated sigh, she let her head fall back, smacking against the fall not too far a ways behind her. How could she have no better idea than waiting around all day? How?! It just didn't make any sense! She was usually able to think up such better ideas... Maybe it was just an off day? It sure was seeming like it. Absolutely nothing was going right since she was awoken by her phone buzzing early in the morning from one of her friends wanting to meet her somewhere. Which was when he revealed the oh so amazing plan to the rest of them, which was moments before Miko walked away dragging Ryuu behind her.
And now here she was. Sitting in a desk as she had been as the sun was rising, causing a racket in her boredom with none around to be annoyed by it. She had no idea how long she had been sitting there. Hours? Nah, it felt more like centuries already. Miko had half a mind to jump onto the desks, turn up her iPod, and start rocking out on the desk tops to her music. Ooh... that sounded fun...
As she was considering the purposeless act, she didn't notice the sound of footsteps in the hallway.
-note, the sample was from a His Dark Materials/highschool roleplay based in japan and the fox, Kaji, was the character, Miko's, guardian/daemon.
