Welcome to PANTHEON ACADEMY. Thanks for joining! Now, before you start posting anywhere, please read these rules.

GENERAL RULES

• This site's rules are based on Proboards Terms of Service. So please obey the Terms of Service as well
  
  
• Plagiarism will not be tolerated under any circumstances, and violators of this rule will be dealt with severely.
  
  
• No swearing, cursing, or fighting. If you have a problem with another members, PM the admins or mods, and we will do our best to resolve the issue.
  
  
• We suggest you be active in this forum. If you can't be online for a time exceeding a week, please let us know in the Absence board. If you're gone without posting, your character may become open for application (which means new members can take your character). If, for some reason, you lose interest in the board, or no longer have the time to RP, please PM a staff member and let us know. We will take care of things.
  
  
• Pictures displayed on the board should not exceed 500 pixels. This makes it easier on those with dial up to load the images, and it doesn’t stretch the board.
  
  
• Avatar/Icons may be no bigger than 150x250 pixels. Signature graphics may not exceed a five hundred (500) pixel width. If this happens, the owner and/or creator of the sig will be PMed.
  
  
• Stay on the topic. OOC is allowed in RPG but it has to be related with the post like: ooc;; Sorry I can't post for 5 days because I have to go out of town or giving comments on the RP posts. But do not discuss the events of your day in a thread; this is what the CBox is there for.
  
  
• Advertising is only allowed in advertisement boards/affiliating or through a link in your name in the CBox. No PMing other members and asking them to join your site.

CHARACTER RULES

• Celebrity Face Claim is a must. Do not use pictures of animated/cartoon characters or manipulated photos of yourself for graphics. They will be removed without warning. Staff members are an exception, as this is a distinguishing measure.
  
  
• Claims must be made and posted in code to make it easier on the mods. We will not keep track of who is who, and if your PB or deity are claimed by another, they will be given to the one with the claim on them. This means that, if you want to keep your character, you had better be sure that they are on the Claims Lists as yours.
  
  
• When choosing powers, if possible, please choose a suitable power for your character. A sea god character should be able to manipulate water and gods of love should be able to manipulate emotions. If you need help with choosing a suitable power, let the mods know, and we will be glad to help as best we can.
  
  
• Don't make your character overpowered. They are gods trapped in mortal form.
  
  
• Do not RP until accepted.
  
  
• Do not kill other characters without the owner's permission.
  
  
• No godmoding (powerplaying and controlling other character without that player's consent) or Mary-sues (too-perfect character).
  
  
• Allow the other members to play their characters as they see fit. Asking one to change the way one's character reacts will not be permitted, and any use of this tactic will result in the thread's immediate Locking and Archiving.
  
  
• One character per account.
  
  
• Please change your display name to your character's name once accepted. So no iluvbabe18
  
  
• To apply for another character, you need to reach at least 100 posts with all your other characters. This also allows you an available power point, should you choose to amp up your new character. The exception to this is if you adopt a character or if a player is unable to RP and asks you to take their character up.

POSTING RULES

• We are an intermediate - advanced RPG. There is no post minimum, however one liners are met with this face: .
  
  
• In role-playing, your posts should be in third person and past tense; put dialogue in "quotations" and thoughts in italics. Most members will help you out if you are having trouble.
  
  
• Write in proper English and grammar. Chat speak, such as a/s/l?, wat up, r u rdy yet?, etc., will not be tolerated in RP posts.
  
  
• Activity is a must. All accounts that have not posted an actual RP thread post in over a month will be up for deletion. If your account is deleted and you decide to return, please inform one of the mods, and we will retrieve your character bio from the Archives.
