Greek myth has probably been the most famous myth in the world. But in the late 90s, rumor spread, saying that the gods have returned in human forms, bestowing their powers and traits to young adults. As this came up, some people started to report witnessing teenagers having special abilities, such as controlling the weather, calling the dead, and every other impossible things.
An isolated boarding school was built for good, to keep these gifted teenagers from being exposed in the public and also to provide them a safe place to develop and train their powers. Apparently, it seems not only Greek gods have bestowed their powers on these gifted children. Recently it was discovered that other gods from other pantheons were also involved. Thus, the school was later renamed 'Pantheon Academy'.
All contents in the forum belong to THE MEMBERS. The site is not based on any books. The concept of Mythology meets Gifted School is original. Please do not take any content from the site without our permission.

Amanda is, for lack of a better word, addicted to popularity. She loves being at the center of attention, and will do what she can to stay there. For the most part, Amanda is a charming, open, and friendly girl. She loves meeting new people and is always ready to make a friend, no matter what they look or act like. Her friendliness, however, will come to an abrupt end, if she feels someone is ignoring her or trying to steal her limelight. When someone ignores her, she reacts one of two ways: the first is to get angry, usually confronting them in a highly agitated manner. The second, more rare reaction is to try harder to get them to notice her. If someone tries to steal her limelight, they are, for the most part, treated to a cold shoulder and steadfast ignorance. Should the person persist, the likelihood of Amanda blowing up at them increases dramatically.
And that’s my character in a nutshell. ^-^ She doesn’t have any friends right now, close or otherwise, and we’re open to almost anything. If you want to do something with her, just ask.

My character is Hayden Underweld, and the reincarnation of Hades. He's part of this group of the most popular guys in Pantheon called the Big Three Zeus, Poseidon and Hades.
However, he resents this fact and hates being the center of attention, and always prefers to keep to himself. He's kinda big on the douchebaggery and can and will completely ignore people whom he finds too bothersome.

They're like polar opposets. xD The fact that he is in the center of attention himself, and would completly ignore her would make Amanda absolutely furious. She'd probably end up doing everything in her power to make him pay attention, just to spite him.

I have Lana Vasante and Natellia Freedmont right now. Amanda seems like a really fun character to RP with. I'm excited!!!!!
Lana and Amanda- Lana is a very bubbly, clumsy, and eager. I think that friends would be great because Lana doesn't like the spotlight but likes to be in the popular crowd.She will speak her mind so Amanda may get a little ticked off about that. I think that they would be great friends.
Natellia and Amanda-Natellia is a bit high strong and independent. She would hate the fact that Amanda is always in the spotlight. I think enemies for this one. She would be either jelous of the fact that Amands always gets the spotlight or annoyed.

I agree with both, and I think that Lana might be a good counter part to Amanda, and definatly a good influence on her.
Amanda dislikes anyone who dislikes her, so the likelyhood of Natellia and Amanda being enemies is very high. ^^ There would probably be some interesting fights between the two.

Hi,
I have Sara (Amphitrite) and Coyotl (Huehuecoyotl). Sara is wary of people being too nice to her and may be a little stand-offish to Amanda. Sara is (hopefully probably perhaps) going to be the girlfriend of Poseidon, so she may be a good one to befriend now (for popularity purposes).
Coyotl is a trickster. He likes pranks and he likes women. Plus, he can be any kind of friend/lover/enemy Amanda may want because he's constantly shifting between forms and personalities.

Cicada--would be very confused by Amanda. If she mentioned how she wants to be popular, she'd be like "Are you serious? Have you MET those people?!" Maybe since she's kind of dramatic, Amanda dislikes her for it, but Cicada is oblivious. It sounds like something that would happen.
Fletcher--is kind of a nerd, but he's sweet. He'd never steal her limelight, but again, he wouldn't understand her obsession with popularity. He could be one of her good guy friends, and since I think we're going to plot with Skylar (eventually XP), she could ask him about how to become popular and whatnot.
Anika--will ignore and enrage her. Even if Amanda were on fire, she'd continue drawing or listening to music or brooding. If Amanda started getting angry, she'd still ignore her, because she's kind of a brat.
Sooooooo, that's it! If you have any ideas, shoot!

Sara: I think Amanda would know of her at least, though I don’t think she would actively try and seek out a friendship at first, though if she does end up in a relationship with one of the three, Amanda will be far more likely to do so.
Coyotl: He would be a constant pain in Amanda’s side. xD She likes to know where she stands in people’s opinions, and doesn’t like them to go and change on her. That being said, she’d probably find him fascinating and keep him around despite her annoyance.
Cicada: Likewise, I think Cicada would confuse Amanda, because in her mind everyone wants to be popular. Theirs, I think, would be an interesting friendship.
Fletcher: I think he’d be a good friend for Amanda; she deeply appreciates those friends she feels she could trust, and I think he’d probably be someone she confides in. At least at first, he’d definitely be like a brother figure to her. ^^ I'd be interested to see if there was anything we could to with the two of them.
Anika: Amanda would, out of irritation, probably just ignore her back for a while, unless Anika were to ignore her when she was in a bad mood. That being said, Amanda would have no idea how to handle her, and after throwing a glorified tantrum would ignore her again our of spite. (I don’t think it would bother Anika much, though. xD)

So, if you want her to win popularity contests, I have Vino who's one of the 12 Olympians (I guess they're like the popular kids in school or something like that). He's a wild child who loves to drink. Maybe he can get her into trouble?

Cicada--haha, they would be interesting. Cicada will do something weird, then Amanda will be like "What the hell are you doing?" Then Cicada will look at her and be like "What the hell are you doing?"
Fletcher--I'm game for anything with him. He never really thinks about being popular. And he'd definitely treat her like a sister XD If anybody pissed her off and she threw a tantrum *ahem* Anika *ahem*, he'd be the one to comfort her and whatnot.
Anika--THEY'RE BOTH SENIORS THEY SHOULD BE FORCED TO SPEND TIME TOGETHER! I think it would be hilarious.
