Greek myth has probably been the most famous myth in the world. But in the late 90s, rumor spread, saying that the gods have returned in human forms, bestowing their powers and traits to young adults. As this came up, some people started to report witnessing teenagers having special abilities, such as controlling the weather, calling the dead, and every other impossible things.
An isolated boarding school was built for good, to keep these gifted teenagers from being exposed in the public and also to provide them a safe place to develop and train their powers. Apparently, it seems not only Greek gods have bestowed their powers on these gifted children. Recently it was discovered that other gods from other pantheons were also involved. Thus, the school was later renamed 'Pantheon Academy'.

Okay, so I'm writing a novel type thing, and I'm having trouble coming up with a good name for my "hero". You see, he is half werewolf on his mother's side, and I can't, for the life of me, find any names that I like. Right now, his name is Cody. Not a bad name, but it gets old fast, and it sounds WAY too Disney Channel for me.
So, if anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. Or if you know a good name website and feel like sharing, please post the link.
How about Cain? It has a biblical reference, and it isn't too modern. Or how about something simple like Theodore or like that? Look at Edward from Twilight, it isn't a vampire name, however the age and simplicity of the name, make the character real.

I agree. You should go with a more simple timeless name, as opposed to a "werewolfish" name, which could come off as cheesy.. Most of the werewolf books I've read the werewolves had simple names like Clay, Jacob, Lucas, Thomas, etc.
If you want a recommendation, read Kelley Armstrong's women of the otherworld series. She write all about werewolves and all her characters have really basic "good ole' boy" names. Don't be put off by the cover her books though! They look like cheesy romance novels but I swear their not! My FOS reads and he LOVES them.
